Pie Factory — Local services in Houston

Ordered 2 pies and 1 1/2 dozen cookies on the 25th for Thanksgiving. Watched the lady at the counter write down the order exactly like I was ordering. Went to p/u my order Wednesday, the 27th. Lady at the counter asked for my name, then went to get my order. She came right back with my pies, then went to get my cookies. Finally, she comes back saying they forgot to make the cookies and that she was sorry and if I wanted I could come back later and they would make them. I said no, I had other things to do and didn't live close by. She said she would give me a discount. She took my money for the pies and gave me my change. I had to remind her she was giving me a discount and so she gave me $4.00. Meanwhile a lady who was there before I got there was still waiting because they could not find her order either. I looked back at previous reviews I gave this store and just last year I had given them a 5 star rating. I don't know what has happened in the past year, whether it be new employees or new management, but I will probably not waste my time going there again. Update 8/7/20: My family asked them to make an Orange pie; this was a recipe from the closed Sun Wah Kue bakery in San Francisco. After the third version, my family thinks it was spot on. It has a tasty orange flavor with whipped cream topping. Pies should be ordered at least a day early. We usually get either their chocolate, fresh peach, strawberry, or coconut cream.
