I frequently visit this location as well as countless other Pollo Campero franchises. Today will most definitely mark my last day visiting this HOT MESS of a restaurant. Too many of the drive-thru personnel (including mgt) have NO courtesy nor common good manners. They lack respect, clear communication, and “doing things right the first time”. Most of the online orders I place ahead of time are due to (in part) my busy schedule. And if you’re like me, then you also take your order time/ order quality/ sauces SERIOUSLY. No shame. After all, WE are the ones keeping most of the local businesses afloat. Most times I get incorrect orders, WRONG sauces, poor quality… and on top of it all — bad nasty customer service/ attitudes from this restaurant’s work staff. And I’m sorry to say this but if the color of your skin is “Black” or slightly more “Browner” than most of the folks working here, just be READY and do not allow this miserable staff to dull your light. All I’m saying is that A LOT of us can tell/ feel when unnecessarily bad attitude is coming from a place of bad morality/ misjudgment. The silent awkward stare at customer business interaction truly SUCKS.

Read moreThis is the first time that I have ever tried to pay with a $100 bill and have gotten told that they can’t take it because it’s an “old” bill. Not only that, but the cashier literally laughed in my face and said it was too old and she needed a “newer bill” I asked to speak to the manager and she said the cash safe doesn’t take older bills??? Sounds like a store problem not mine… Having worked in costumer service for more than 10 years myself, I know there are other ways you can verify if a bill is legit or not. I have handled cash at a store myself. But that’s not the issue, the problem is the fact that not only do they not take an “older bill” as a type of payment, they ridicule you and laugh about it too. While I was talking to the manager about it, (not making a big scene) about 4 employees gathered together to talk about the “old” bill that this lady was trying to pay with… When I got through talking to the manager, one of the employees clearly said “bring a newer bill next time” (in spanish). Read morei was craving wings and wanted to try something new. Problem is that the girl at the register (and i realized by observing while eating that the rest of the team too) doesn't speak English. I asked for all the wing flavors except for the Buffalo because i don't like spicy hot food and one serving of yuka fries. the wait was long, like 15 min at least, with a full staff and a food passing area full of chicken. i didn't understand why it took so long. Then i got my order and understood why. My wings were ALL buffalo and the yuka fries were family size. Thankfully it was good and not too spicy so i could eat, but it totally numbed my tongue, so i couldn't even taste the sauce that came with the yuka. I obviously have some leftover so this is gonna be for tomorrow. I wish I realized they didn't understand what i wanted or i wish they told me they didn't get it and repeat my order to make sure they have it right. the receipt matches the order no doubt, but that's not what i wanted in the first place.
