I went in last Friday after work to kill some time and relax from the heat on my way home. I'm a blue collar professional so I may have been a little dirty and out of place. I walked in and was greeted with very friendly employees then I started looking at some tee shirts and right away noticed an individual looking at tee shirts that were clearly not his size. I wondered for a few, seconds as I selected a few tees, why he kept following me through sizes that clearly wouldn't fit him. OK so I walked to the dressing room and casually strolled past a lady and a guy stood there just staring at me while he rummaged through some racks at the entrance to the dressing areas. He didn't say anything, so I just walked into the dressing room entrance. Just as I did he barks at me telling me I need to return and put the clothes on the rack so he can count them!! What an attitude! I was caught off guard a bit and replied rather harshly as well that I didn't know cus he just stood there just staring at me and didn't say anything. If he'd of said something initially all attitudes would have been avoided. I felt like a criminal with all the commotion. So finally I got in and could hear him talking about my attitude with the lady I had passed on my way in. I said something in response from the dressing room and lost all interest in buying anything. Left the dressing room and he had left another in his place. I asked if I could leave the clothes on the track there and she also harshly demanded that I leave them there so she could count them before I leave!!! What?! It was 4 tee shirts! Isn't it illegal to detain someone against their will? I left them on the rack and walked off as she counted. Will not go try on anything there again. What horrible nonsense. Has theft gotten so bad there that they pick and choose who they treat like criminals? The guy following me was probably a loss prevention officer and a bad one at that. I'm just to honest to notice it initially. I'm normally a nice guy so if I'm an ass to you you should ask yourself why. I have nothing good to say except for nice people who greeted me...
Read moreI only shop at that Ross if I do have a ride there. Been going there for years. Honestly I have never had an employee who seemed nice and personable. I get dirty looks from the staff at the front of the store and have never been asked if I needed any help. I do hear the employees talking really loud about me, the store, the customers. No regard or gratitude for customers business. It really upsets me bcuz being in customer service I act respectful, helpful and talk very nicely to the employees. Don't they know that they are all replaceable? I certainly hope that they are re-trained if they want to keep their jobs. Sorry I can't say anything nice about the staff but they should be told to shape up or shi out. I love the store but won't be giving my business this season bcuz it's been that way every single holiday for the last 5yrs that I have lived in the Heights. Please train your staff to be great...

I said I was an appalled with the way this so-called manager conducted her self. She got all ghetto with her lingo and put my things under the counter. Bottom line worst management at a Ross hands down I freegwent them often . I’ll never be back to the Ross on...
