Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Houston

I find myself writing this review after indulging in a weekend long pizza binge that would leave any normal man face down next to a pile of half-emptied garlic packets and scattered sprinkles of Parmesan cheese, closely resembling a snowy wonderland.

As I happened to be in a particularly frugal mood, my choices of pie suppliers comprised of chain pizzerias within a 5 minute distance, enter: Papa John's Pizza on W 11th. Being a meager 2 minute drive down the street, this modestly sized pizzeria would be my source of cheesy cake for the weekend.

Only so much can be said about the quality of Papa John's ingredients. They are, as should be expected, predictable. Not to say they are of bad quality, however as with any major chain there is, and always will be(I feel), room for improvement. My primary reason I felt compelled to write this review is because of the service I received from this particular location.

Among my many "pick-up" orders I found myself in need of that extra something. Whether it be adding a topping last minute over the phone, or staring eye-to-eye with the cashier as I slowly announce my lusty desire for additional garlic sauce, in hopes to further elevate the taste of my dairy/dough/sauce concoction. The staff at this location had embellished upon my every request, without hesitation, and without additional cost to me.

Simply put; satisfaction is asking for two garlic cups, and...

I really wish that I can give zero Stars I made my order 25 minutes prior of me picking it up I have my child with me and the driver outside insisted on going inside and getting my order for me I let her do so she was so nice the manager is so rude he came outside gave me my money back and was so hostile and told me he couldn't find my order so I'm trying to explain to him I already made my order I had to stop everything I was doing once again get out of my vehicle bring my child with me speak to him inside of this Papa John's and he was rude he could care less he was very smart and considerate and then on top of that when I called after I left sitting in the parking lot he tells me that he's the manager I asked to speak to a manager and he told me he's the manager he should not be the manager here he literally ruined the whole experience the only reason why I let him remake my order it's because he told me that it would take 10 minutes and it was for my children when I get my food there's a piece of hair in my food I didn't even eat my food yet I've been trying to call back up there and someone answers the phone and puts it back on hold worst experience never again and I will be...

ORDER FROM ANYWHERE ELSE!!!

This Papa John’s in the epitome of a horrible restaurant. Just when I thought things were bad, they got worse.

Even if you set a delivery time an entire day in advance, your pizza will be delivered at least an hour late.

On top of that, they delivered my pizza with a broken safety seal, and then when I called about it they tried to tell me that they don’t deliver pizzas with safety seals….as I was staring at my broken Papa John’s safety seal!!

It gets worse. Then, after the man on the phone finally agreed to send us a new pizza, we get a pizza delivered with no safety seal at all and the delivery man tried to demand a cash payment from us very aggressively.

He stood there for 20 minutes trying to get ahold of the managers to confirm we didn’t have to pay cash for the pizza. All of this was happening while we were showing him the uneaten pizza with the broken safety seal and he kept saying that they don’t use safety seals as we were showing him the broken Papa John’s safety seal ….
