Had the worst experience yesterday I tried to brush it off and say that I was overreacting, but in all honesty, it was the worst haircut I ever got. Please make sure your stylist has some kind of star rating review. I gave someone with no review a chance and I’m literally paying for it with my hair. Everything that could’ve went wrong went wrong just woke up saying maybe it’ll look better in the morning when I go to style it but it’s not happening at all. Noticing my hair is uneven has a fried smell gave me short layers when I never asked for it the first thing I told her was I need something low maintenance and just a little bit of movement. She never even asked me how short or even turned me around to look in the mirror until she was completely done styling my hair even the style was awful and she tried to convince me it was just the curls. I asked her to take it all down and straighten it and it was a complete disaster. She really was gonna send me out in the world looking like a hot mess. I had to ask her to adjust the hairstyle to the point. I just asked her to stop because there was no saving it. The specific stylist wasn’t even nice or friendly, pretended she understood the vision, but didn’t ask me any questions and like I said, literally didn’t even let me look in the mirror the whole time she was cutting my hair. I asked for waves and she gave me curls. I just feel like she didn’t listen to anything. I told her maybe she was having a bad day but when you have a bad day, you don’t cut people‘s hair and reflect that. I do believe the other style is there we’re very professional and the customer seem to be enjoying their experience. I was not one of those. At this point, my hair is not savable for any other style than trying to cover up the short layers very thick...

I will recommend TFO salons as my only trusted hair salon until the day I die. I've been having my hair cut, colored and styled by Jen and her team since they opened and won't have anyone else do my hair. After some horrible coloring experiences at other salons; resulting in damage I only could grow out to fix, I was so unsure of starting to color my hair again after all the work to finally have healthy hair. I've shared my concerns with Jen on my first apt and for years now she is always so careful with my colorings. Always giving me the best advice on when my hair needs some extra love and attention as well. She is very knowledgeable and always very clear with my at home care, what kind of colors I can safely use on my natural color, and making sure I never over do it with styling or coloring. Plus she's made me the perfect custom ginger color that I adore getting now!

On top of their excellent coloring, cutting and styling abilities, I just adore the salon and everyone's personality's while in. The salon is always very clean, smells amazing, and they all go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and enjoying your experience. Plus they have the sweetest salon dog Cali.
