I came here to find a dress and some heels last minute for a date night. I ended up getting a decent black dress and I did find some black heels to go with. (The heels were perfect for where I was going) The dress is great no issues but the heels have the gem stones on them. the problem is some of the glue is all caked up on them in some areas. You can clearly see. Like from a hot glue gun. Also the paper from the box was sticking to some of the glitter stones. I was unable to get it off. I go to checkout and ask if 10% could be taken off because of the “damage” of the shoes. The manager refused 😒 smh. Which was just crude. The vibe here is not it. The customer service……there is none here. This was the only pair in the size that fits me. It’s difficult to find shoes here because first off they run small. I always have to get a size 10 here and they just fit. And usually the 10 is out. 10% is not unreasonable to ask for on an item that’s not at 100%. I had to get the shoes because I was out of time and needed to rush home to get ready. But honestly I come here pretty much for last minute finds when I have plans if I can’t find anything else. I’ll definitely be keeping it that way. You can tell from all the policies and things posted on the windows of the store that Trendmall has had many issues with customers. However it’s not a pleasant shopping experience here. You are treated like one of the thieves tapped on the window. Not like a valued customer. Manager doesn’t care. You can tell. I’ve never caused any problems in this store in fact I’ve shopped here only about 5 times. The vibe is that every person is treated like you don’t deserve good quality or customer service. Read moreI used to shop at Trend Mall all the time because they were one of very few places who sold very cute clothes for the "average size" woman. Granted, their PLUS section was a very small one but they still had very nice, trendy selections. In the last year I noticed that they have completely done away with their plus size clothes. I was there today and I saw several curvey women and girls just strolling around looking lost (like myself) trying to find anything they may be able to squeeze into. Ironically, I noticed that several of the young ladies who worked there were not exactly small so I asked one of them what is the largest size they carry she said nothing over a "large". And the sizes run small so a large is really more like a medium unless it's something stretchy. I was so offended and disappointed. The small section they once had for the curvey girls was barley noticeable and located in the back of the store (where most plus size sections are) so I felt some type of way that they saw reasoning in getting rid of it all together especially since it was a busy section of their store. Anyway, I can't tell them how to market but it's very unfortunate that we now have one less place where larger girls can shop for cute, sexy, trendy clothes. I hate to say that I can no longer be a customer so I have to resort to ordering online from Fashion Nova Curve. Read moreUPDATE 10/26/21 I am, for the first time EVER, completely retracting a positive review for Trendmall on Westheimer and Dunlavy. Trendmal's l manager on duty refused allow an even exchange that I brought .I had purchased 5 days ago, with receipt, unworn, all tags and receipt in the bag. One of the blouses 2 Price tags, the one in the designers name tag behind the neck, came off rather accidentally while trying it on , which I placed inside the stores bag , and the other price tag was still attached at the end of the sleeve. Yet, when I went to the store to return the set , the manager refused to return it due to that one tag, the one behind the neck , being unattached., Yet it was well within the 5 day return time, accompanied by the original receipt, and it was obviously still unworn in perfect condition . unworn , same condition it was in when I had purchased it. Also, This was a 55.00 item , which is Not an inexpensive item, and it was a returnable item, unlike not returnable items like belts and undergarments, etc. I explained the tag came off immediately when I pulled it over my head due to it's tight turtle neck , and the top still had the second price tag at the sleeve, unworn with receipt and within time frame, and the important fact of how often I shop there and spend quite a bit there every week..no can do!!!
