Iconic Sports Cards — Local services in Hudson

I’ve gone here a couple of times, I bought a signed poster one time and it was a fine price. When it comes to Pokemon though they have scalper prices. Last time I was in they had 151 binders selling for $30. They had booster bundles (typically around $35 for Pokemon) selling for $90. These aren’t market prices, they’re scalper prices and it ruins the community. It makes it terrible for families with kids who try getting into the hobby. It ruins it for collectors. If you want to take your family to a good card shop, go to punch out gaming in forest lake or silver king gaming in Hastings. The drive is worth it for both of them. Not to mention they take cards at 70%. That’d be fine if they didn’t already scalp brand new products, but this isn’t the right way to build a community for TCG, which has a very strong community. This company is one of the biggest scalpers out there. Charging double what retail is. While going and buying all the product from the surrounding areas. Staff is inattentive if its not sports, and again charge over 100% markup on every single pokemon item in the store. Again after buying out all the retail from the surrounding stores. Not only is this a scummy business practice, but the hurts the TCG community as a whole. Me and my community will never visit this establishment again. Funny thing is, we were ready to buy and rip everything in the store at market price. GOOD LUCK holding on to your packs and boxes forever. DO NOT VISIT. Went in recently to sell a bulk of cards, and the older gentleman that helped me was extremely dismissive, and told me that I could not afford a card that I was looking for. The funny part is, I could probably buy any card they have in the store, and I was willing to spend over $2000. But with his attitude, I decided I'm probably going to take my chances elsewhere.
