Well, I really had high hopes for this, but I'm left a little disappointed. We got the 6000 and set it up. Waited a few days for it to fluff and it was certainly big, but the description made it seem like it would be 6ft across and it isn't. Even when we flatten it out, at most it's a little less than 5 ft. It's comfortable for a little while, but the foam doesn't hold very well and mostly just squishes down and becomes hard. Fluffing the bag is an absolute necessity once a half hour. Which is irritating when I want to read or work on a project with the kids or game. My biggest problem is actually with the customer service. I ordered a charcoal fur cover, but what I got was a dark brown suede cover. I haven't seen the rest of the covers, but when I pay extra for a "fur" charcoal cover and end up with a brown suede one that was on the cheaper list, it's a bit off putting. Are all their covers the same material? I sent a message to see if this could be resolved and I see that they saw that message on the 29th of November but have not responded at all. I guess you get what you pay for and even then you don't get everything you do pay for. I'll try the more expensive company next time I think. Might have better luck. Oh and as a side note, don't buy the fur blanket. It's soft and I do like it, but it's small. Not worth even the discount price I got it for (under 50). You can buy much larger fur blankets online for half the price that feel just as good. Just a warning in case anyone was...
Read moreWe bought an Ultimate Sack 5000, which is advertised on their website as follows:
"Our Ultimate Sack 5000 has material measuring approximately 5 feet in diameter Depending on the surface of the floor and weight of the occupant, the bean bag chair will be between 57 and 63 inches across, and 30-34 inches in height when fully fluffed The bean bag chair weights 50-55 pounds"
However, when we received our bag, the measurements were closer to the smaller model. We contacted Ultimate Sack customer service they recommended we let it expand for a few days. After letting it "expand" and "fluff up" as instructed, we measured it and the dimension were: 51 inches in diameter, 27 inches in height. We also weighted the bag and it is only about 41 pounds. We contacted ultimate sack again through e-mail and the seller insisted it was the correct bag. After many short e-mails and failed phone attempts (no one answers their customer service line) they asked us to count how many panels are on the outside of the bag. We confirmed there were 3 and they said that this proves it is an Ultimate Sack 5000, end of story. (bag has no labels, no easy way to identify the model)
I believe they misrepresented the size of their product to look more attractive than their competitors. The advertising on their website is false...
Read moreI love this bean bag chair! I am a little shy of 6 feet and a bigger gal and my husband is muscular built average height and we both can sit on the 5000 model. I was very worried it would be like a lot pf other models I had seen that were flat and would be even worse with heavier weight on it. Not the ultimate sack, after watching tv together my husband and I simply fluff it back up and it's ready to go again. The material is not the softest, but it is very durable and handles our labrador climbing all over it very well. I will warn it is very heavy if you arw fluffing it by yourself! I had wanted a love sac for almost 10 years and I'm so glad I could never afford one because this is just as good. Very happy with my purchase! And very...
