Animal Jungle Pet Shop — Local services in Stow

I’ve grown up with my entire life taking care of many different animals who have lived long and healthy lives (mammals, birds, reptiles, fish, insects, amphibians). I have purchased 4 animals from this business. The first was a baby bearded dragon that did not even survive 2 weeks after purchasing him from this store. I decided to give this business the benefit of the doubt. The second was a snake that had either contracted a virus under their care/ or before they got him. This led to a neurological disorder and it had to be put down by a vet at an emergency clinic. This neurological disorder only became apparent months after purchase and it was too late. The 3rd and 4th were purchased a few days apart (before the 2nd snake showed any alarming or noticeable symptoms). They were both wild caught with damaged scales. I had to bring one back for the employee/owner to remove MITES off of it and she swore they didn’t notice when selling it to me. One sick/infested animal is a coincidence, but 4 is a pattern. Just drove past this place & decided to stop in, thinking it was just an average pet store I was going to pick up a toy for my dog. I was surprised to find out it was full of reptiles. Over the last couple years I’ve been wanting to own a snake but never felt comfortable going to a convention or buying from an online site or chain store. I loved this place, the customer service was amazing. I ended up purchasing my first snake and she’s beautiful. The staff was super informative and made me feel comfortable enough to take care of her on my own and gave me contact information for any future questions. I was able to buy everything I needed to make a vivarium for Tajin at this shop and the staff was courteous enough to carry out my tank to the car for me. I can’t wait to stop...

This has been an amazing 5 star experience for me! I am so impressed by the hospitality and professionalism of this business. I recently purchased a baby cherry head tortoise and was provided with all the support that I need. They have a large selection of animals that all seemed to be cared for very well. I was able to purchase everything that I needed for my tortoise here and was educated very kindly on how to properly take care of him. The prices were so reasonable and not overly expensive! The building is clean, the employees are fun and knowledgeable, the animals are beautiful. I have no complaints.
