I expected this place to be busy because it just opened. What I wasn’t expecting was bad service and a very confused staff. Upon walking in the staff really couldn’t keep track of the different groups that walked in, the hostess was clearly young and didn’t appear to be fully trained or have anyone helping her. The front lobby was overcrowded and hardly had space for people to come and go. We sat on the patio and awaited service just to see a table sat after us getting their drinks already. We hadn’t even seen a waiter yet. Once we were helped A friend and I got the same drink the Octopus margarita (part frozen lime margarita and part sangria), and turned out this was an extremely and horrible disappointing margarita. The frozen part was melted by the time it got to the table. If there was salt on the rim it melted into the glass because upon tasting it that is all You could taste. Both of us had the same exact taste, As if it was made with fish tank salt water. I honestly gagged after I tried to take another sip thinking it was in my head or I didn’t mix it enough. When I told the waiter something was wrong he just insisted the drink was made right and that’s what I ordered. He was very confused and just kept insisting it was fine. I asked him to switch out the drink and he didn’t understand what I meant so I tried to explain over and over. Eventually replacing the drink with water. After this I didn’t want to test out the food so I told the people I was with they could order if they decided to but I was just no longer up to being a Guinea pig. The waiter became confused further when I asked for the check. Then offering to replace the drink and insisted we stay when I said we would leave and I just needed the check. After I became frustrated with trying to explain what was wrong and that I wanted to leave. This restaurant has a lot to figure out. I paid for the other drink that was ordered our the table which was the blueberry margarita which was really bland and just contained an unbalanced amount of alcohol and blueberry skins from them being over muddled. I could understand if this was a test run or soft open, but with a highly anticipated opening this really didn’t live up to the hype. I was really excited to try this place out, but I won’t be coming back here at least for awhile. $12 for a drink that wasn’t even worth it. Very frustrating and...
Read moreVery disappointed. This is the second time I’ve tried this place and they have gotten my order wrong. I ordered grilled chicken on a salad and they gave me extra chips instead. The manager did make it right and didn’t charge me for the salad which I appreciated. My pregnant sister in law is only able to eat certain foods. All she wanted was a quesadilla with cheese no meat as meat makes her nauseated. When I got home with the order her quesadilla only had steak on it- no cheese or anything else. If they don’t understand your order they should verify it with you. This place is right down the street but unfortunately after this I will not be returning. There are other Mexican places in stow that have not given me the incorrect order. I really wanted to like them after the second chance but I just can’t...
Read moreI do not usually write reviews, but I feel like I needed to share this... Spicy Sombrero was my go-to place with work friends, but after this, I do not think I will be able to eat there again.. on Friday, I went there after work and ordered the Burrito Sombrero. I forgot to specify I wanted chicken, so it ended up coming out with their "certified Angus beef." I ate one burrito there, and it was ok very dry and bland, so I took the other home figured I could doctor it up to taste better but while I was eating it tonight I cut into it and found this.. I have never been more disgusted. This giant rubbery vein/artery was attached to one of my pieces of meat.. really had me second guessing what cut of meat was in my...
