Have had several disappointing experiences at this location. The two most recent orders have resulted in my commitment to no longer frequenting this establishment (Stow, Darrow Rd). I ordered a tuna sub, got home, went to eat it and could barely get my teeth through it. I immediately returned to the store and showed the sub to the Manager (I think he was actually a District Mgr) who acknowledged how hard the roll was and explained he thought it was made the previous day. So much for freshness….. He replaced the inedible sub like he was doing me a favor, nothing more for my inconvenience or poor experience. The next time (I figured give them one more chance especially since they are so close to home and very convenient) I ordered tuna again. They put on so little tuna that you could hardly see it much less taste it. They put it on like they were spreading butter not the primary ingredient. It was ridiculous. I even made a remark emphasizing my disbelief that went ignored. When I got home and showed my wife the poor excuse for a $10 sub, she laughed. I took a pic and contacted the store as well as customer service. I received an apology and nothing more. This was my last time at this location.
The good news is that just a little bit further away is another Subway located on Kent Rd. Much, much better! Friendlier service. Generous servings and much more reasonable prices!! Read moreWent here yesterday and was given the wrong sub it was a little busy and did not notice until I was about to eat after the power came back on, took a drive back there and they were closing because the power was off, they would not offer me a refund even though I had the mess up sub that they both knew they messed up on, all I could get was come back tomorrow, I can understand if it was a hot sub but it was a cold sub and they would not remake it for me, so I patiently wait until today to call, I left my name and number with the store at 2 pm it’s almost 8 now and still no call back from the store owner, the kids working seemed more interested in getting out of there then helping a paying customer. Read morePretty annoyed don't even want my sandwich asked them to put onions on after it was in the oven and they told me know I had to do it myself they'd give it on the side. Sopretty much you guys have utensils and want me to open the sandwich and get my hands dirty when it's your job. Young lazy kids wasted $8 threw sandwich away because service made me so unhappy couldn't eat it. It's not gossip time girls it's a business. Update only thing I ate yesterday got extremely sick I noticed girls weren't even cleaning utensils between sandwiches. Wonder what other cross contamination could be going on.
