I recently moved and my daughter needed a bigger bed. I’ve rented from Buddy’s previously and had a decent experience. However this time wasn’t so great. I went in to purchase a bed and mattress for my daughter from Melvin and was told that he would call me that evening once he tracks down a mattress. Never got the call from him but received a call the next day from one of the female workers. She explained to me that they would pick up a mattress the following week, which was fine. Friday of the following week I went in and looked at the mattress with Marcel and wasn’t too pleased with the way the mattesss looked. Marcel said they had a newer mattress in the back that had been delivered to a customer on Saturday and picked up on Tuesday but the mattress was brand new. He stated the previous customer only returned it because they dropped it while delivering it to her and it had a spot on it from hitting the ground. So I went with it. My price went up from $600 to around $900 because I chose the newer mattress. When the bed and mattress set was delivered, the mattress and box spring were mix match and after sleeping in the bed my daughter broke out with red bumps all over her. As well as my niece that spent the night and slept in the same bed with my daughter. I called Melvin on Monday morning to pick the bed and mattress set back up. They didn’t call to come until around 3. I also took my daughter to the doctor and she was diagnosed with having bed bug bites. Today is Wednesday and I still haven’t heard from the owner and no one has called to discuss treatments for my home. Melvin did say it wouldn’t be a problem but from my research bed bugs spread quickly so immediate treatment should be priority. Also he told me I can call around and get some quotes. The one quote I told him was $2800 from a pest control guy. He replied for some bed bugs. I told him yes but Marcel said when he came to pick up the bed that Buddy’s has a contract with a pest control company. He told me the $2800 was probably for a year worth of treatments. But from my research you can’t just spray once for bed bugs. But I’m not understanding why I would have to get a price quote, seems like something they should be doing. And they can find a better price quote. My home just needs immediate attention. I am very disgusted and...

You pay on this stuff over a year and still don’t own anything and even after u have been a loyal customer (maybe late a few times but always catch up) they harass u to no end....u guys can come get my stuff Friday when I get back from out of town....my account is under Amy rice bc I know for a fact I should at least be paid off or almost paid off on my sofa since I’ve had it more than a year...I will be expecting u Friday morning....I can get overpriced furniture anywhere without paying on it for years ....thank you and Marcell treats I like a criminal every time he...

Wish I wouldve read the reviews before hand but needed a bed quickly and i love my bed. However the customer service is terrible, the calls and rudeness is beyond me but i love my bed cant wait to pay it off cos chillllllleeeee omg lmao! I was considering getting mattresses for my daughters bed but decided to buy hers elsewhere. Also I thought i was getting a new mattress, upon taking the mattress cover off to wash it realized Im paying for something somebody else has pooted and drooled on and apparently wasted red kool aid but hey guess...
