Grocery Outlet — Local services in Huntington Beach

I came into the store on 6/22/20 to buy cat food, went to the pet food isle and saw that the same blue buffalo cat food in the turquoise bag had 2 different prices one for 19.99 and one for 9.99 they the exact same bag so I looked for an employee to assist me , which his name was Jason by the way very friendly, he looked at the bags which were the exact same thing, he removed the price and went to check it and it came up 19.99 mind you the prices were side by side and there was the same cat food on both sides, I asked him do I get it for the 9.99 as it was an error on your store not mines and he said to talk to the manager, which he said her name was Jennifer, she also scanned it and said it was 19.99 and I said don’t you honor the price as it was a signage error on your store and she said no, that she would not honor that, I asked her if I can talk to THE store manager and she stated that she was the only store manager and that I would have to speak to the owner which was not available, I asked her when can I speak to them and she said tomorrow 9am, I have been in retail for over 20 years and every store I have been to they simply honor the price and remove the incorrect one, her attitude was like I’m not giving it to you for that price and took the bag and didn’t even apologize for their error, I told her I would write a bad review and she simply said OK, I walked out of the store as a very unhappy customer that will not return, and remember how they say one disappointed customer = 10 as I will let other people know of my experience and they will not come in, bad...

I go to the 99 cent store here all the time and I don't know which one to go in first. 99 cent store has great deals, but grocery outlet will often have amazing deals on larger items. I like how I never really know what I'm going to get and the stock changes It's really cool I like the idea of change and I like how I can try many different things over time. They have a really nice selection of coffee that is at a great price point for many of the bags. and their food is always been good every time I get it. They have a nice selection of vegan items right as you walk in It's really nice

The 99 cent store is currently under ownership change so I'll get knick-knacks at timu or Amazon. But I still go to grocery outlet...

Absolute worst grocery outlet i ever been to . I usually love that market but this specific location is OLD OUTDATED SMALL poorly stock dirty and PLAIN AWFUL. Its in a getto area where homeless like to hang around . Very dark inside not very welcoming. It needs to be gutted inside out .Parking lot is always pack because its shared with 99c and marshalls .this was the most messy and confusing one ever . Very small compare to other ones .Aisle felt cramp very small selection a huge let down . I will avoid this specific location from now on .prices were all over the place some lower some higher . Feels like numbers are being thrown at random . Makes zero sense . Even with their "discount" its still higher than going to target using target app for...
