I bought a necklace and pair of earrings from MG back in March, the necklace was stunning (Although box-less) however the earrings had several scratches on them and the stud was also burnt in 2 different spots. While the customer service prior to me receiving my order was amazing and really made me consider them my go to jewelers in the US, the after sales/ customer support was far from good. I shared my concerns about the earrings and they just denied that they were in that condition, I don’t know what they were implying but it was such a poor way of handling this, and when I asked them to send me a shipping label (the same way all businesses do when they send you a faulty item) MG jewelry asked me to pay for it this time because they “gifted” me shipping (Mind you I still paid for the UPS insurance) but at what time do we take away a “free perk” we gave a client the moment they express their dissatisfaction, so in total I was going to pay shipping twice plus insurance three times to get the earrings when it wasn’t my fault they were scratched in the first place.I held my ground and after some back and fourth they asked me to pay for shipping and said they will reimburse me which is something i never had to do not even with a candle business, everyone business sends you a shipping label and when something goes wrong they take responsibility and handle it professionally. Bought a piece that was showcased on their instagram page, they were very responsive, and it looked amazing! Went back and forth because I was ordering online to Texas, they sent me videos of different angles and were able to take payment in whatever way I wanted (they offer debit, credit, zelle, etc). When the piece got to me one of the stones got loose in shipping and fell off, they told me to take it to a local jeweler and they would cover the cost of repair. Honestly really appreciated that level of care and responsiveness.
