Kalaveras HB: 17071 Beach Blvd, Huntington Beach, CA 92647 This brunch is all about the options. It’s $39.99 for adults and $19.99 for children. You get bottomless mimosas and micheladas, and SOO much other stuff. There’s a hot station with enchiladas (I thought the enchiladas were particularly good), chili rellenos, fajitas, rice, beans, barbacoa, posole, menudo, etc. Then there’s the seafood section where you’ve got deep fried sushi, aguachiles, and ceviche. Next up, you get unlimited tacos at the taco station with all the meats and toppings. Next to that, an omelet and chilaquiles station. Move your way on over and you have a build your own crepe, desserts, and kids station. And, of course, I can’t write all that and NOT mention there’s a chocolate fountain. I think this one is definitely on the more undiscovered side. Have you heard of this brunch? . . . #foodreel #feedfeed #brunch #bottomless #ayce #allyoucaneat #wheretogo #huntingtonbeach #hb #wheretoeat #orangecounty #discover

Oh wow, what a thrilling experience this was! I’ve been to three other locations and liked them all, so of course, I expected the same here. Walking into this Huntington Beach location on a Saturday night you know, typically a busy time for restaurants, I was absolutely blown away by how dead it was. A true ghost town. Now, let’s talk about the service. If you’re looking for a marathon dining experience, this is definitely the place for you. From taking our orders to bringing chips, delivering cocktails, serving food, and finally getting the check, the whole process took a mere three hours. And no, that’s not an exaggeration. The servers? Oh, they were very busy… just not with us. They were out back, probably solving the world’s problems, while we sat there wondering if we had become invisible. Our party of five was graciously given one serving of chips and salsa for the entire table because who needs more than that, right? The real tragedy here is that the food and drinks are usually decent at the other locations I’ve visited. But hey, if you enjoy waiting an eternity for your meal and love the thrill of wondering whether your server will ever return, this is the perfect spot for you. Otherwise, I’d recommend one of the many other Mexican restaurants in the area that actually value their customers’ time.

We arrived with a toddler we were sat at a high top table. When we asked if they had high chairs, we were informed not for those tables. So he had to remain in his stoller. They got overwhelmed quickly. The restaurant was less than 25% full when we arrived. We gave our order right away practically. The waitress came over half an hour later and apologized for the weight, blaming it on “big parties”, didn’t see her again until we asked for the bill. She then offered chips with salsa as a consolation. This only made me realize this is the first Mexican restaurant I’ve been that doesn’t give it anyway. I thought it may be because we ordered nachos but looking around I realized it’s not offered unless ordered. The food is the only thing that saves this place. The tacos were exceptionally well, I would suggest the Chicharron.

Unfortunately all it takes is one really bad service to not want to come back. Ive come 2x times before, what happened this time? Idk got seated by one person, drink and app by another, everything else by one other, and our waiter a whole different person. Came for taco tuesday, said that when me and my coworker got there we got drinks and an appetizer. We finish everything and still no one comes to for our taco.tuesday ticket. Turns out the aren't doing tickets and going up to get them done I'm front of you and you load it up. Now they bring them to your table and then you have to get up to go get the salsa and rabanos. bad service all around and then when I asked a waiter who our waiter was he got offended bc we were like whats up with getting served by so many people and like he gets offended. Again finish everything, but no napkins, waters, chip refill. Like it was after our table was cleared of plates not by our waiter but the man who took our drink and appetizer order. we were asked by the busser lady about chip then waiter finally asked asked if anything else. Even when it comes to getting the bill left waiting more than 20 minutes told 2 people we just wanted the bill had to make eye contact tact from across the room and hand sign...

Went there with a party of 14 people, there were no other customers. I continuously asked for my water to be refilled and they never came back, in actuality nobody's drinks got refilled. We had to get up and ask for more chips. We got our food fairly quickly, so that was nice but once everyone was done we sat there for an hour waiting for someone to check up on us. I had to ask for the bill 3 or 4 times as well. Once we had the check and put our form of payment. We still didn't get a follow up, nobody came to get it. It took someone from my party getting up and handing it to an employee to get it processed. We were there for a total of 3 hours. 3 hours with barely any drink refills. Nobody wanted to be there 3 hours. As we sat there, larger parties started to come in. I would say with 8 + people,( There were two other bigger parties) they got better service. Some came and left in the time we were just waiting.

I think this location is too big for them, I have been to the one in Orange and that one has way...
