The Kite Connection — Local services in Huntington Beach

The customer service at Kite Connections could not be better. The owner was beyond helpful before the sale and after. The store is small but worth the visit. If it's not in the store you can order online and they will ship it to the store if you want to pick it up in person. I was visiting Los Angeles and chose to buy the kite in the retail store since they had it in stock (one of the few places it was in stock) and they even had the color I wanted. I went on a weekday and found parking very close by (it's actually ON the pier). It was a beautiful day and I enjoyed walking on the pier and watching the surfers in the waves...

After rediscovering the joy of kite flying nearly 2 years ago I quickly found the range available in New Zealand very limited & expensive so after a bit of googling discovered The Kite Connection and found the owner Dave, helpful and an absolute pleasure to deal with even though I'm a single customer on the other side of the planet. I've now had about 6 or so orders/deliveries from Dave and without going into detail he went above and beyond for me on the last order/delivery. This is a simply outstanding store. Kristin provided expert knowledge that only a veteran sport kite flier can offer. She was able to contrast the flying characteristics of the kite I was asking about with other kites in the same price/performance range. I'm completely confident that buying my kite from Kite Connection was a best decision.
