The staff is incredibly friendly and they have the most amazing selection of food and ingredients. The patrons, the staff, the variety of ready to eat foods, and the general atmosphere are a must visit, if you're looking for authentic Hispanic food.
The carniceria has so much to choose from, from ready to eat, ready to cook, to select cuts for your protein dish, they have it. Try the chicharrones fresco, they are the perfect snack especially if you're keto, but trying to watch your sodium. They are flavorful, lots of meat, cooked to perfection.
If you can't speak Spanish, don't worry, the people are all amazing and they'll find someone that can communicate with you in English. If you're like me, and speak broken Spanish they will work with you to find what you're looking for. They cater to all forms of Mexican, Central, and South American ingredients. They have all the authentic ingredients and flavors needed to make a great meal that doesn't taste like it came from Chili's or Taco Bell.
It's a blessing to have this gem in our city. I love...
Read moreThis is a Hispanic oriented store. They have every imaginable Hispanic dodad every made! Key chains, hat's, license plates, badge holders, etc... Grocery section is neat and organized and appears to be clean. They even have an ice cream bar. The meat department appeared clean and had various cuts required for Hispanic/Spanish dishes. However the reason for not giving them a five (5) star rating is simple. Most places sell lunch plates by the plate, not here... they charge by the pound. I would have liked to know this key bit of information before I asked the server to "put extra sauce on the items..." My meal came out to just short of $14.00. Kinda high for this type of dinning. Oh well live and learn. Also the meatballs were handmade but regrettably the ratio of filler (rice) to meat was quite high. There is an indoor seating area and some picnic tables outside as well. Worth...
Read moreI went here for the first time yesterday and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the store was. I purchased a roast beef tort and loved it. It was delicious and very well made with a lot of fresh ingredients. I walked around and bought a few other items. The reason I am only giving 4 stars is because the girl who checked me out was pretty unpleasant. She never said good morning or thank you. I was surprised because i was having such a good experience until her. It shows that first and last impressions really do make a difference. There was a tip jar by the register which I would have placed a tip but ended up...
