E for effort! The gas station clerk was the sweetest; she recommended the hushpuppies. The hushpuppies were a hit, as for everything else we'll discuss it. The gumbo was salty. The jambalaya was dry. It's run by a bunch of folks from NOLA. The main draws are authentic po boys, jambalaya, gumbo, etc... PLUS some things you wouldn't expect. They have a bunch of awards for their wings. They have an EXCELLENT pit master out back that makes some of the best brisket you'll find just about anywhere (especially in the Huntsville-Decatur area. I'm looking at YOU, Big Bob Gibson). They even have southern influenced fusion items like the hillbilly burrito, which sport bbq and so many other things that I can't even describe it. The bread pudding is an out of body experience as well.
