Indian Bazaar — Local services in Huntsville

Terrible store, and even worst customer service. I would give 0 stars if I could. I stopped by some time last month, no one greeted me, I just got very uncomfortable stares as I said hello. I went to shop around the store and there was a couple staring me down like vultures looking for food, things like that can make someone feel unwelcome in the store. Then i asked the guy for a particular product and without even checking or even looking at the product picture on my phone, he said very loudly and rudely, “no not have” and with his hand did the shoo away motion. I then asked for the restroom, they didn’t say anything like “we don’t have one, or its out of order”, they said straight up “not allow” . Later on I discovered that there is a restroom in the back, and someone of the same ethnic background as the couple walked out of the restroom, I assumed they were family, but nope. They were also just a customer I immediately put my items back, and walked out of the store. DO NOT COME HERE. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE A DIFFERENT ETHNICITY. Im usually not one to write reviews, but if an experience is really extraordinary, or really bad, then I sill let others know. There is a much better store down the road called India Mart, and a new one called spices. I have went to India Mart with complete polar opposite of a shopping experience. They actually were very nice, and had no problem with me using their restroom. Will try spices next, but anything over...

We recently moved to Huntsville area. The store owner changes policies within minutes. At the beginning of diwali sale there were no limitations on buying items. So I went again to buy some stuff for family members and owner had limited number of tea bags we could buy. Apparently this rule was only for us because the person who was right in front of us in the check out line had bought a full box of tea box and owners happily gave it to them. And when we tried to buy it owner said there is a limit to buy the same thing that a previous customer bought in bulk right in front me. Owner's vague reason was as" he limited the quantity so everyone could have little." Very unreasonable! I told the owner we will never shop at their store again! He said "OKAY" ! I also said we went to buy some other items at Patel Brothers in Nashville where we bought few additional items that were not in sale at India Bazar. So owner asked "why did you even had to Patel Brothers in Nashville??" I don't even think he should even be asking this question to his customer. So I am definably not going to shop at this store again in my life. I will definably not recommend this store to anyone. Prices at Patel Brothers are very reasonable and atleast they respect their customers. This owner has no respect for his customers. I would not even go to this store even if he now sells at cheap price; doesn't deserve my time...

I love shopping the indian markets.This new expanded market has so much variety. The prices are great and the store is very clean and pricing is listed correctly below the items. However, my heart breaks after leaving. The people that work there do not speak. No one ask if I need any assistance.This I can deal with but I get so uncomfortable with the gazes with out speaking. At check out I waited to see if they would say anything still nothing.I spoke and said hello the cashier she did not speak I asked how was her day to break the ice she shrugged. This is painfully uncomfortable considering I not only shop there at least once a week, but I try to be kind to everyone. I’m conflicted. I pray for my brothers and sister. I’m not from the same ethic group nonetheless, we are humans. Please be kind to your patrons! Much...
