I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt it was needed after my experience with this boutique. I have never walked into a shop with such an unwelcoming vibe. Came in with my mother and was looked at as if we had no business being in their store.

Also, a snide comment was made towards my mother when putting a dress back she showed me to try on. Associate literally walked up and said, “Do you need a dressing room? Oh, no you don’t.” In other words, oh yeah that’s definitely not a dress you would be trying on. I have never been so livid and disgusted. I visited Monkee’s about a 2 weeks ago in search of a Mother’ Day gift. I live in the neighborhood and took the “path of least resistance” to find a store and pick something for my Mother. I was immediately helped by Madeline, who guided me to the eye glasses section and recommended a stylish pair that would suit my Mom’s style; after giving a brief description of what she typically likes, color schemes, look, etc.

Well, my gift was a hit. And now my Mom visits this store bi-weekly to browse their inventory and talk with the staff.

A unique shopping experience during these times... Imagine a bright, beautiful store with friendly, attentive staff in 2022! Monkees took me back to those "good old days" of shopping. I felt valued as a guest in the store. I came in specifically looking for dresses for a vacation and purchased two that I loved. You can feel the quality of the clothes during the try-on process, and you truly get what you pay for.
