I live and grew up near this Krogers for 25+ yrs. I know how sales, coupons, and the Kroger cards work. I have never seen a decline in customer service and organization in this store all the year I have been coming here until this year. Today 11/04/2024 PM customer service is the worst. Where is the manager? I waited 20 mins and she never came to check why my Kroger card and the items on sale was not clearing as a digital sale but at full price. I was here this morning too. And the same thing happened with a case of water. It's frustrating when I go in to ask for help before I start my shopping on why my card is not scanning the items on digital sale on the app. They have no answer. Instead they make you feel like your don't know what you are doing. They don't honor it as well. Item was on digital sale and they know it. I gave them my phone to try scanning the items and looking it up and it still not showing up on the app. Clerk calls the ridiculous PM manager for help and she never showed up. Waiting 20 mins and every one else scanning and leaving I am still waiting on this manager. Young customer service called for a manager and she called him back and resolved what he needed for a customer in front of him. I asked him to help me get this issue resolved after 20 mins of waiting for the manager. This is just for 1 item! This Lady PM manager tonight obviously does not have leadership skills or communication skills. She lets her customer service clerks fail and get yelled at. Shes horrible. I still have yet see her. How do you answer a call and say you will show up but don't show up. After the call someone else called for you and you called them back and get that customer service issue resolved. I had 1 item and it took a simple over ride of $1.39. You couldn't do the same with your clerk that called you about my item. My 1 item!!! I held the line up and that was embarrassing and frustrating to be in the store already that long adding everything up in my cart that's with sales and digital sales, just for the total to be wrong. It's the principle. This is the 4th time this has happen this year where I come in and shop for about 20-40 mins and the total is different at the register and now I have to go down the aisle again mixing and matching items on sale again that I need. This store is unorganized with sale tags of 5 for 5 mix and match, digital sales, and coupons. If you going there you have old sale tags up on the shelf next to current sale tags. They have items in the wrong place and they don't honor that. This is not just one item misplaced it's the whole box or multiples of the same items in the wrong place. It's ridiculously unorganized and slacking on customer service. Customers know more then the clerk at the register and at the self check out do not treat people like they are dumb. I used to work here in my teens. Too many new people and you guys need to train your people up better. Not like the PM manager. Read moreWas in a hurry and kroger is close so we went in and spent about 140.00. The self check out clerk ushered us to register 1. we where glade for it because self check out is such a small space for bagging a large amout or miss matched items.. Everything was fine however the lady standing in the bag area was just standing there bagging nothing talking to someone. Still in a hurry I was thinking ok she will bag when the guy she's speaking to walks off but she doesn't she just picks up her phone and starts playing with it. So I start bagging myself because again we are in a hurry. The lady finally puts her phone down to start bagging with me only to stop with items still remaining. She walked back to self check out. I said out loud wow she bags slow to my shopping companion. Only for the cashier to inform me that bagging is not her job and she could get fired for bagging items. Then as we are leaving I hear the cashier compling to the lady that will get "fired" for bagging items and how we where rude. Like lady move and let me do it instead of getting "fired" for bagging groceries while working at a grocery store and go stand at self checknout and I guess tell on shop lefters or scan ur card when the register beeps. Read moreI use to stay in the area and would shop there regularly. Well I have since moved and still am a frequent there. I placed a cake order a week ago to pick up a cake today at 10 am for my son’s birthday tomorrow. Well today I received a phone call from the bakery manager stating that she would let me come in and get a free cake because my cake was not ready because they fired the baker. I was very upset while speaking with her and then walks in one of the employees, who I found out upon arrival her name is tevia. She had to make a cake for me and two other ppl and she had to do it under stressful conditions. Once she came in her manager left and she had three cakes to make. I stayed at that store a hour and thirty minutes. She was very kind and the cake came out perfect. My son loved his cake and so did I. Tevia could have said no to making the cakes under short notice but she didn’t. She was running around the kitchen working hard and pushing to meet times. I hope the managing team there at kroger realizes she is a great worker, and a great cake decorator. However I didn’t give the store 5 stars because I was late for an event because of the unfavorable conditions of the new baker. Thank you Kroger for giving me my cake...
