Pink Couture Hair — Local services in Hyattsville

I usually do not leave reviews however, I think people should know the truth, especially when it comes to one spending their hard earned money. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT purchase hair from Pink Couture aka Nakia.

Exactly, 1 week ago, I purchased 3 bundles (20,22,24) of Beach Body Wave hair. The hair I purchased is HORRIBLE!! To be frank, pubic and underarm hair is softer than the hair I paid for. Nakia is a lair and a fraud. I am a huge advocate for supporting black owned businesses but individuals like Nakia makes it hard.

Prior to my purchase, Nakia was prompt and available to answer any/all questions and even stayed open late for me to purchase my hair. On Monday (1/28/19) at 9:30pm, I texted Nakia advising her about how unsatisfied I was with my purchase and the hair quality that she assured would be top grade. I have yet to receive a response back. I have no reason nor desire to lie about my experience. Her shop is beautiful however, business is DEAD and clearly she needed the $318.00 more than I did. Additionally, she was trying to sell me a unit from “Tokyo” for $700.00 and that unit looked awful. She then tried to sell me two bundles of “raw” Indian hair and was trying to convince me to purchase a bundle of processed Brazilian hair to complete my bundle purchase. No ma’am! I say all that to say, She’s desperate for sales and will lie just to get your money. I cannot stress enough, DO NOT waste your money on Pink Couture hair. I visited Toni the Nail Slayer, my nail care was awesome!!!! This salon is absolutely the adorable, the owner did a fantastic job on the decor, from what I saw they also do really great hair from the ladies I saw come and go.
