Absolutely unprofessional and a waste of valuable time.

One realtor, Shelly, didnt even call me back but lied to the other realtor, Emily, that was blatantly miscommunicating to us for days while she was out of town that she had and given us a whole explanation of the pet and living situations. Lies.

Finally get to see a rental and it's a triplex and duplex that both don't take pets, neither of these are disclosed as such on their website (but one has been fixed since our encounter due to wrongful advertising being mentioned to Emily, see photos as before it was displayed ONLY as a single family home and now it's displayed as both a single family AND multifamily; plus text proof from Emily stating otherwise days before as well it would would rented alone). Instead of fixing this error we were met with more lies and push back from Emily trying to excuse everything as being our fault and we decide to leave due to the unprofessionalism and nastiness being displayed by this realtor. As so we are rudely stopped by Emily who finds it OK to smack her loaded keychain up against my driver window and then try to tell me that she didnt hit my window it was just a tap to get my attention...the audacity of this woman... I told her she scared the hell out of me, rolled my window down and asked what was going on.. we were met with the response of "you know I have a spot for you right now, i'm literally on the phone with the owners...but now I don't want to rent to you because you hurt my feelings". Absolutely disgusting behavior from a professional already aware of our current slumlord living situation and longterm residency as locals on the mountain if you ask me. If they will treat locals this way I feel for those looking for places right now with the moritoriums ending June 30th....Some advice to the business, after the keychain situation and the FIRST of many lies I didn't want to rent from you anymore anyways Emily, thanks I guess though? No amount of backpeddling needed to be done as it just appeared desperate to us. Huge red flag as we are currently trying to get out of one bad situation, not to end up in another...

No what we did was: held you, the second realtor that never talked or called us back but said she did, and the business you both work for accountable and at the end of the day that was too much for her as a person.

We literally told BOTH realtors, Emily physically through text TWICE and Shelly via voicemail, that we have pets AND need private residencies days before being rudely told we won't be rented to after "hurting their feelings" when showing frustration towards their benevolent disregard to our wants and needs disclosed to them days before even meeting them.

Avoid if possible. The reviews below mine are accurate when they say they don't work for the better of the client, they work for the money and apparently their own feelings at the time.

Called to rent a billboard on July 5th. Was told it was available and I immediately filled out the paperwork. I was told by Amie Foye the billboard was mine and given information about the sign company to make the billboard. I filled out the paperwork, paid my graphic designer to do the art work for the sign and coordinated with the sign company to produce the sign.

When I turned in my paperwork I was told there was another interested party but I was first in line. I said I hope this isn't a situation where it's a friend of a friend that's going to cut in line. I was assured that wouldn't happen. Of course, a friend of someone at Idyllwild Realty swooped in and cut in line for the billboard. I was offered an apology and a lie about the fact they didn't know there was already a signed lease that magically appeared. I would of had a lot more respect for the truth. I would not trust...

Working with Ashley Stewart was nothing short of excellent (and we were not easy buyers to please)… “he” wanted one thing and “she” (me) wanted something else. After an entire year of hit-and-miss, Ashley never gave up on finding us exactly the place that checked both of our boxes! Ashley is exceptionally responsive, efficient, knowledgeable, and professional! She seems to be available 24/7 answering her phone immediately, responding to emails/texts promptly, and performing all her follow-up work within minutes of identifying the need! The additional support that Shane Stewart provided us was also a plus — they are quite the dynamic duo and you’d be hard pressed to find anyone who knows Idyllwild better!
