My friends and I—a group of 10 motorcycle riders—were on a trip through the area and decided to stop at the Red Kettle for a bite to eat. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with an incredible sense of warmth and genuine hospitality. The restaurant itself has this wonderful, cozy home-style feel with just the right amount of rustic, mountain charm that made us all feel right at home. The staff was absolutely fantastic, and the service was nothing short of excellent. They were friendly, attentive, and had a great sense of humor that kept our whole group laughing. It's not always easy to serve a large group like ours, but they handled it with grace and treated us like we were part of their own family.
I ordered one of their omelets, and it was truly outstanding. Cooked to perfection with fresh ingredients, it was exactly what I needed after a long ride. Every single person in our group was thoroughly impressed with their food. The atmosphere, the service, the food—everything was a solid five stars. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. If you're a local or just passing through, I can't recommend the Red Kettle enough. Stop in and see for yourself why this place is...
Read moreCute place with a very diverse menu to accommodate most taste buds. I ordered the Eggs Ranchero which arrived a bit differently then anywhere else I've had them. Came in a shallow bowl the size of a corn tortilla. Layered well with tortilla, 2 egg's cooked perfectly to my request of over medium, pretty good salsa (very mild) I added Cholula to give it some pep, small amount of beans. Presentation was more of stack. In a separate dish same size as main arrived cottage potatoes cooked with a nice crunch. I simply slid my stack of eggs ranchero on top of cottage potatoes, enjoyed this so much more. Came with two corn tortillas, not sure why with this presentation. The dish was not outstanding but good all the less. My wife ordered the two egg with Vegie sausages and a made in house biscuit. Hard to mess this one up. What really turned us both off was the condition of the flooring and umbrella stand in the outside dog friendly section. see picture. Owner really ought to seek out a power washer and clean this surface. It was unappetizing so say the least. The tables outside have a see through wrought iron top, so this is visible while eating. So only 4 stars due to this issue. Service was...
