Nov 2023 we moved from a fully furnished apartment to a house in pleasant hill. We needed a new couch so we ordered a small sectional. First they made one guy deliver this thing completely by himself. Then wonder why they cant keep drivers. Within the first 2 months the arm caved in from light pressure of a toddler and there was a rip on the cushion that connects to the back of the couch. I emailed and called customer support to get a tech out to fix it or replace it and never got a call or email back. Fast forward to Aug 2024, I still have failed to hear from any support to fix said couch. I call and ask that they transfer my new couch to a new location they state the new address thats an additional 15 mins away is out of their zone we have to move it ourselves. Okay what ever we moved it. Emailed and called again in Sept to try and get it repaired again no answers. Finally Nov 2024 I had enough of paying for a couch that was just now a year old and that was broken within the first few months I decided we were gonna return it. A member of the staff was calling for the payment and when notified that I would like them to come pick up the couch and that I would like to talk to a manager the employee got an attitude and became rude. The manager was supposed to call me back. Never did. I call the next day and the day after that to follow up again no luck but attitude and rudeness from the employees again. I then decide to call corporate that tech was great and advised a regional manager would call within 24 hours. Still havent heard from them either. Finally yesterday I hired somebody to take the couch back to aarons and as we are walking in the manager says âIts the Adrian one.â Please know just because I live in the country doesnt mean my ruskin personality wont come out but the manager wouldnt even talk to me completely acted as I wasnt there and hadnt been calling in for multiple days to speak with him. So at this point ive wasted almost $700 on a couch I no longer own plus wasted another $130 on getting the couch back to independence. Im highly disappointed and wont recommend this...
Read moreI am incredibly upset with the way I was treated by the ânew managerâ. I am behind 1-2 payments $54-110. I informed the previous manager several times that they have my payments coming due on an incorrect schedule as I am paid differently now and have received no missed calls from them. I was woken up to someone knocking on my door demanding payment on my account. Are you guys insane?! I also told the manager the item they sold us does not even work and we do not even have it anymore. It lasted only a year, which I now actually hear is common with Samsung ovens. However, I was still making payments on it, on MY pay schedule. I will only be sending payments when I get paid. I donât appreciate someone knocking at my door over $100. I also provided the ânew managerâ with a cease and desist of which she said she would be ignoring unless I provide in writing, which I am not required to do per state law. I have worked in collections for 8 years, try brushing up on your state laws before you gets Aaronâs sued. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is a US government agency that enforces federal consumer protection and antitrust laws. The FTC Act, primarily, empowers the FTC to prevent unfair or deceptive acts or practices in commerce, seek remedies for consumer injury, and create rules to address unfair or deceptive practices. The FTC also enforces other laws related to consumer protection and antitrust, including the Clayton Act, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. The FTC brings hundreds of lawsuits against companies every year, and I am happy to provide them with another one. Each and every attempt to reach me will be documented and recorded. If I continue to be harassed, I WILL cease payments on the oven we no longer have. If they leave me and my family the hell alone, I will continue making payments as I have been. This is not the first time I have been 2 payments behind and I ALWAYS make my payments when I get paid. Harassing people is not the way to get your money, I...
Read moreI purchased a 65 inch Skyworth television that has been put in the shop approximately 4 times by aarons due to connection errors. Each time I got the tv back, within a few hours it was doing the same thing. I got the tv back today and low and behold same errors. Each time the television was kept for several months and returned with the same issue. A Gladstone manager told me the television was probably never even sent to the shop but instead just sat in their warehouse. He was rude, nasty and disrespectful. He even put me on a list saying I can never purchase from Aarons again after I had the audacity to expect this overpriced television to work, after approximately 12 years of purchases with no problems. I called corporate several times and was told there was basically nothing they could do but encourage the store to do the right thing and have a manager call me back, no one EVER called back. I am prepared to file a complaint with the Attorney General and sue the store. I feel like this is predatory behavior and I will not stop until a reasonable...
