Pizza Street — Restaurant in Independence

Took the family out to eat here tonight and we were absolutely horrified at what we saw. Grown adults touching the buffet food with there hands while the staff talked and laughed with them and not once ever saying a word. We also witnessed children touching and licking the pizza and putting it back saying they didn’t like it and the staff never saying a word. Children operating the ice cream machine and placing there mouths on the piece that the ice cream comes out and laughing with staff about it. The people cleaning only picking up plates and leaving food on the floor not picking it up and not cleaning the tables. The table we sat at was filthy as were all the others so we asked for a rag to clean the table our selves and were told it was clean and when we pointed out that it wasn’t that food doesn’t come off and to sit and eat or leave. I asked for a refund and we would leave and we were told sorry no refunds. The pizza was cold and they would only make pizzas that there families and friends wanted and refused to make anything that we wanted which they told us when we paid if there was a pizza we would like to let them know and they would make it for us and they refused. Three adults at 9.99 a person plus drinks. The main point here is we just went throw pandemic and it is still affecting us and to see no regard to cleanliness or safe food practice and safe food handling this is a place that is just not clean or a safe place to eat. We will never be back which is sad this use to be a busy and nice place to eat now it’s as bad as eating out of a trash can...

Pizza Street their food, and service is great. However there exist inside me much to much John Denver to not point this out. Pizza Street is no more compassionate, nor is their concern level appreciated by customers who they know despise throw away everything. I dislike enforced compliance in the highly supported corporate Bozo the clown attitude that the food handling establishments are so okay with serving up beverages in nothing but styrofoam. The daily routine to have lazy government butt kissing food establishments rubbing elbows with we don't care who doesn't like it, if they don't care for how lack of concern in how fast food is regulated including how it's governed and served...there seems sadly this unanimous idea if someone doesn't agree, and dislikes how concern levels are with completely ignored in the name of The Show Must Go On...regardless of how people feel about this sensitive issue they don't voice it out loud but certainly imply it...if you disagree with how your served go find another eatery that insults your integrity less then fine spend money elsewhere problem remains every eatery follows and kisses up to same ole same ole butt kissing to stay in business and we can't see it from our house therefore all are politically bossed and follow the golden rule of we don't care. that's how I feel about Pizza Street, and other eatery's who live by Oh Well...

I went here today for lunch, & I did not realize that the purchase of the buffet included the rude way I was treated by management. The short, brown haired, male manager, was incredibly rude, yelling & screaming at all of the customers in the restaurant. My party & I were yelled at for simply requesting a Supreme with no mushroom & a regular alfredo pizza. I get it, pizza street is a dead end job, in which your employees are upset with the poor work environment & lack of career advancement, but does that mean your customers don't deserve basic respect? We all have bad days, but this manager is obviously in need of a career change, due to the fact that he can't leave his emotional baggage at home & do his job properly & respectfully. I have been a longtime, faithful customer of your establishment since opening day, but due to the deporable actions of this manager we will not be returning. My final thoughts on this matter is that maybe instead of yelling & screaming at the customers he should have put that energy into making sure the pizzas were thoroughly cooked & everything that hit the line while we were there was raw. I never received the pizza I requested. Not cool Pizza Street, you should be ashamed of your...
