This is the most awful store! I have to make myself go cuz I absolutely don’t want to even spend my money in there but there in not another available open store for me to shop in my area that my work hours allow me to shop.
There is a customer service person by the name of “BRENDA” that is the most rude and uncaring and she totally humiliated me on a day that I desperately needed help. 5 years now shopping there with spending hundreds there a month , there prices are way high, I’m never getting home without a overcharged price on my ticket. I hate it and they are so hateful to straighten out, it’s just not worth the effort to get that stressed over dollars and cents! Anyway I called the store from the parking lot and had just been accidentally shot by an AR-15 in the leg, and dr told me to get yogurt in my stomach befor I took the antibiotics cuz they were very strong. The gun shot wound was not life threatening, but it was painful and I was still bleeding a lot! I called in and said I was a regular customer and in a very bad situation and I had cash to pay if a worker could please bring me yogurt to my truck. “BRENDA” The customer service manager , did not let me even finish what I was saying, interrupted me and said “WE WILL NOT ACCOMODATE YOU !” And hung up on me. So I was desperate so I called back in and asked to speak with the police officer on duty, and she hung up on me again!!!! I have never been so desperate for help in my life, and treated less than human by a company that I am a customer of for years! I had to go in that store and get the yogurt myself, I had crutches I had no idea how to use yet, I was leaving a trail of blood with every step, in so much pain it was unbearable and unable to fight the tears and hold them back. Of course the yogurt is in the furthest back corner of the store! I had to go all the way back to that very back corner and get it back up to the check out, not one single person offered to help me. In the check out I looked down and my blood was gushing out of the bandages. The checkout girl was sweet and somewhat concerned, but had been told to not help me and ignore my condition by Brenda. right before i got up to her check out, I got up there and she had put the phone down. Looked a little scared and confused. I told her o was fine and know she was told to not accommodate me. Told her just do her job and I’ll get out of here. The slacker was told the same, but he walked me back to my truck anyway! He was really upset I had been treated so badly. He said she is a horrible person and everyone there hates her! And so on and so on.......
They have no customer service to there customers! I filed two separate complaints, directly to their management and got zero replies both times! No apology no recognition no response at all! Not even an acknowledgement to my complaint!!!!!! So not only do the have terrible customer service, in turn they don’t care . They don’t reply, respond, so I have no satisfaction what so ever. Read moreAlways an issue with their rewards points.. you would think with walmart plus and other services like this they would treat their customers better but all they do is take take take. Definitely taking advantage of consumers. They don't care about us... we have to have groceries , but they are charging so much more than Walmart. Sometimes, 1-2 dollars higher for something just as simple as a damn bratwurst. I'm done with them taking my points off when I've been saving up for 20 dollars off just because I used the self check out. Doesn't even show you anywhere on the screen that this is being done. It actually said my total was the full amount when I put my debit card in.... then when I get my receipt, it was almost 5 dollars less and I knew then. Then the person at "courtesy" service refused to let me pay cash and put my points back on... when the manager during the day did. So either there is a liar working there that is not being honest with the customers or they changed that within the past couple of days. I'm done. I'll save 20 bucks on just a few orders instead of hundreds and hundreds of dollars of spending only for it to be taken without my permission or even being...
Read moreThe Store Entrance and Cart Area is always trashy! Most Employees don't smile and are not friendly! Some really need to learn how to bag a paper bag! Sun Fresh should consider adopting to phase out their Plastic Bags and put in place a Paper Bag recycling program! While Independence is not requiring masks, most businesses have adopted to wear masks in their business! Sunfresh has not acted on this, which is redicuious considering we are still under a Health Advisory and Precautions still need to be taken! Most people wear masks in Sun Fresh, some are not wearing masks and the people that are wearing masks are not wearing them correctly!
