I came in on a weekday morning with my spouse and kids. We waited OVER AN HOUR before the sole employee helped us. I looked at the clock to be sure. There was only one customer in front of us, and that customer was already in the process of being helped when we arrived. I suspect the employee did not finish with them however because when she finally helped us, the customer remained in the store. All we wanted was help with our phone not charging. The employee basically told us that the charge port for all the Samsung phones like ours are junk and we can buy a new phone today.
When we bought this phone they were telling us about how it was the new hotness and the charge port had the quick charge technology etc etc. After about 20 minutes of frustration with this employee (which followed the 1 hr 10 mins of frustration while we waited) she told us that down the street there is a Radio Shack which maybe could replace the port for us. (Radio shack has not existed as a company for several years).
In addition to the unprofessional service and long wait, this employee was wearing a stained white shirt. I recommend driving to another city if you have Verizon and need help in this area. Total waste of an hour and a half of my family's life.
The only positive thing I can say is that there was air conditioning.
OH and P.S. 1) problem was simply the charge cord. 2) I am still using that same phone today even while I type this review and 3) "Radio shack down the road" turned out to be Devil Dog I.T. Devil Dog is a wonderful place. The owner was friendly and helped us figure out about the cord. I highly recommended them and they are an Internet service...
   Read moreAlexis did awesome The people on the other line from the main office of Verizon were really horrible they weren’t helping her at all making things harder and she handled it professionally I had originally called Verizon to add another phone number to a phone I had last year and they took my money of the phone and did not tell me that my SD card would not work for the phone so I had no choice but to either lose my $80 or go buy another phone at Walmart which I had to do and then came back and Alexis got it started for me You should really have a return policy when someone calls up to activate a phone they charge you and then they don’t tell you that your phone is not compatible with Verizon I spent $80 and I was very very highly upset because they took my money but my phone was not compatible I think I deserve a refund It took me from 10:30 in the morning to 4:30 in the afternoon to get that phone activated and then have to go buy another phone and get it fixed because the people over the phone should never of tried to activate my phone and charge me which on pre-pay is nonrefundable I feel like my money was taken and it should’ve been because they should’ve known that is their job when they get the MEID number they should know the phone was not compatible The people on the phone did a horrible job but Alexis did an amazing job thank you Alexis for helping me even though it took so many hours out of my day of frustration because Verizon over the phone handled it horribly and charge me for something that my phone could not...
   Read moreDealing with this retailer was a disaster from start to finish. Ordered a new phone on My Verizon with store pickup because we could get the phone the same day with a two hour prep time. Ordered at 2:45 pm. At 4:25 pm I called to check on it and they said it wasn’t here yet. After I pointed out the phone was in stock they said they would look. Called back at 5:35 pm and they said it was here. Drove half an hour to the store and they only had one employee. Waited almost an hour to get to talk to employee. Then the process of getting the phone turned on and stuff transferred took over 45 minutes.The employee was new so had to call to ask how to do things as she had never handled an in store pickup before. We wanted the same day pickup because my wife’s phone died. Honestly we should have gone to Wal Mart or just had Verizon ship it to us.
