DG Market — Local services in Indian Head

This particular Dollar General in Indian Head, MD may not be adequately staffed, however it is one the best ones I've been too! This store has a wide selection of pretty much everything from grocery items to household to clothing and it's well kept & stocked! I was actually surprised to find some really nice warm clothing for my husband to work in, as he's in the cold all day, including a coat/jacket that isn't bulky, he can move around in it and he'll stay warm in. In fact, I would've bought so much more had I known the selection I'd find & had budgeted for it! I never would have thought of buying clothing, esp nice clothing and several items at that from the Dollar General! Proved me wrong & he was extremely pleased! I recommend this location most definitely! The employees are also much nicer here, even when there is only one person working the entire store! I've always been treated respectfully no matter how overwhelmed he/she may be. I will go back & often to this particular store location. I keep stating that as the store in Bryans Road Md, as soon as you walk inside it looks as it has been condemned & if not it should be! It's absolurely horrific and you can not even push a cart through it, as there are boxes, merchandise, trash and who knows what else laying and thrown everywhere! Beware & be afraid, be...

The store does seem to be a little cleaner recently. Most of the staff are helpful and friendly. One older lady, she has gray hair she is not a friendly person. I have needed her help a couple of times, the last time I asked her a question was 9/23. There we're 13 people in the line, she checked in an order then proceeded to sing while dusting. The lady passed by me I made the comment they could use another cash register open, she snapped and said smart back to me but within 5 min. she opened another register. One other time this September it was about 7:30 I walked in and 3 bikes were inside the doors the kids middle school age were talking with a D G representative. a Woman with bad “Orange hair she was Caucasian she kept following me and scared me as she walked up and creeply asked me if if wass okayyy” waited until I accidentally dropped my my things and yelled at my mother about me I knew because I was Right there and didn’t know or did I know her I don’t expect the staff too know our life and I don’t know there’s but “She was Weird” and saying inappropriate things too her about me with another staff member that wasted his time” her behavior was not okay...on the Wednesday 3, August 2022 and making me feel unsafe all she had too say was “Calm Down” but that was to much too ask for too much was she mentally alright?
