The Breakfast Spot — Restaurant in Indian Head

Took some time to support a new business in Indian Head, MD! The Breakfast Spot is fairly new and had quite a few items on the menu I was interested in trying. I went with the Chicken & Waffles dish w/ scrambled eggs on the side. The Belgian waffle was light and fluffy with crispy edges!!! (Extremely nice touch) chicken wings were fried a little hard but still enjoyable with the waffle. The eggs were scrambled nicely (they seem conscious of not wanting to over season food so add salt to your liking). I would like to see larger portions of juice but overall, as a new establishment I look forward to dining here again! Here’s to another successful business in...

The cashier was EXTREMELY rude. She acted as if she was annoyed with doing her job. Im guessing profit doesnt matter because the three customers she raised her voice at in front of all the guest (because they didnt approach the counter as fast as she wanted them to) viuce their frustration and sge made no effort to apologize. And the icing in top of the cake after waiting an hour for corned beef has & pancakes- the order was still wrong and THE CB HASH was spoiled!!! I wish that the customer service was better so that we could have settled up on the spoiled food and missing fried apples but the attitude of the cashier/ order taker gives me no hope....

The food exceeded my expectation! First we LOVED there was NO pork on the menu and they had YUMMY beef & Turkey alternatives (uncommon ones). The food was seasoned so well.and fresh. The fish and grits and salmon was so good! When I got home I realized 2 side items where missing, I called and went to pick the missing items....when I got there YOU WONT BELIEVE THEY WJERE WAITING OITSIDE WITH MY BAG. I am impressed and eventually though something was missing they made it up with the great food...
