El Tucan Mexicano — Restaurant in Indian Head

I never post reviews, but this restaurant deserves an exception! When you walk in, staff is ready and happy to greet you! I ordered the beef chimichangas w/ the queso on the side…. The beef is fantastic and the rice are super flavorful

But here’s the deal… I hate queso blanco. Like, I hate it, no matter the restaurant . But since I’ve never been here before, I’d give it a chance. I’m so glad I did, cause this queso is AMAZING!!! I don’t know what they do differently, but I’m shocked I don’t just like it, but absolutely LOVE IT! The portions are good but not overwhelming like other Mexican restaurants which is nice! The food is good I have ordered the quesadilla a couple of times now and I've only been going there for 3 weeks. However I ordered the kids meal for the quesadilla with chicken only to get home and find that it was just cheese. I went back, and when I explained this to them, they apologized. We'll see what happens the next time I order a kid's meal. But as far as service and food are concerned...

Restaurant was very clean. Service was attentive and got all of our orders correct, including the extra sides. Prices were extremely reasonable. Portions were very large. Best of all, the food was absolutely outstanding. Definitely going to be on our repeat list. Already salivating about what I'm going to try next time. I ate my leftovers as soon as I got home....
