The spa to visit for the ultimate relaxation and an enhanced experience!

When my husband and I first arrived at the spa, we were greeted by the amazing staff of the spa Amy and Ryn. They were kind and welcoming, while checking in for our service the staff noticed an issue with the initial booking. Amy assured us that she would take care of it and resolve the issue right away. She asked Ryn to assist and ensure we had no delays with our service. Both Amy and Ryn informed us about the property, services, and items available for purchase. It is easy to book a service but it is not easy to receive an experience. Spa Esmeralda provides an enhanced spa experience with the superior customer service of their staff! We were able to unwind and enjoy an intimate self-care day at the spa. Eva was very sweet while assisting us with our service. She had water, champagne, chocolates, and cold compressors available during our hydrotherapy service. She provided aromatherapy oils and extra mineral salts to enhance our experience. We enjoyed the luxurious treatment room we were assigned. We were able to enjoy the spa garden and facilities all day. The spa provides pool passes and validates parking if you have a service book and are not staying at the property overnight. They also have 8 treatment cabanas. This was a nice touch for those who love nature and would like an outdoor treat. They provided towels and yummy cucumber water to stay hydrated and refreshed throughout the day. The spa is beautiful; it’s not dated in any way. There is nice comfortable seating in the relaxation lounges with stock refreshments. My favorite complementary enhancement was the eucalyptus shower mist, I felt like I was having another spa service all over again. If you have, the opportunity to visit the spa this is an item I recommend purchasing. I did get my hair wet during my service and there is a little bit of everything a lady can need in the women’s area. They have feminine products, blow dryers for your hair, deodorant, lotion, and much more. They also provided a complementary orange vanilla hand scrub. I love the smell I couldn’t stop smelling my hands and rubbing my husband's face so he could smell it too. He kept complimenting how good my hands smell. I’m not sure if they change the scent throughout the year. Spa Esmerelda provides the ultimate experience and many enhancements to make their guest spa day unforgettable. I want to give kudos again to the staff who assisted me and my honey, Amy, Ryn, and Eva. Their customer service is the reason why I am writing this review. I walked into Esmeralda Spa with no expectations and left genuinely impressed. Priscilla did an amazing job—one of the best massages I’ve had. I’ve had a few before, but this deep tissue session stood out. The use of CBD oil is a must—super relaxing and really helped take the experience to another level.

The massage bed itself was a pleasant surprise too, with a built-in warmer that made the whole session even more comfortable.

As for the amenities, the outdoor garden area wasn’t anything special, but the outdoor jacuzzi definitely made up for it. The water cascading off the wall and splashing on my shoulders and back after the massage was the perfect touch to wind down. The sauna was decent—once I cooled the thermostats with a cold towel, it gave a much better steam experience.

I contacted the spa twice about a treatment I had received when I stayed there in June and have literally heard not one word back. The spa is beautiful and the outdoor pool area very relaxing - I really enjoyed that. However my 50min massage I had booked ( their last appointment of the day) and let me tell you I felt like an inconvenience to the therapist and she couldn’t be done the massage quick enough. There was a loud fan on in the room so you couldn’t hear any relaxing music and when I asked for a little more pressure she said okay but it didn’t change. The style of massage wasn’t slow at all it was as if I was getting a body scrub and just quick movements. Not relaxing at all. My friend had someone else and really annoyed it, she even got a head massage !! I wish I had the same experience. For paying around $250CAD ( includes 20% tip) I felt robbed of a treatment and the experience I was hoping for to be worth splurging...
