@dinegps Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week is HERE. May 31st - June 9th, check out 10 days of dining experiences from our neighbors just 1.5 hours from OC. This is a fantastic day trip to take, or even pop in overnight (we stayed at @tbmiramonteresort). For ten days, over 90 restaurants across Greater Palm Springs are serving up deals on their most impressive dishes. Here’s the 5 spots we tried: Cava @renaissanceesmeralda - beautiful views of the pool hotel, tons of options @palmspringstrio - award winning, and you can see why. Get the mushroom pasta!!!! Waters Cafe at @aguacalientecasinos - we sampled chicken, fish, and more - and an apple crumble to finish it off @corkandfork - fantastic tacos, risotto just for restaurant week, and beautiful drinks @williesranchomirage - definitely a date night spot, gorgeous dishes, and gorgeous drinks with a fantastic view of the hills There’s all that and a ridiculous amount more for you to choose from for your Greater Palm Springs trip. For more information, you can check out dineGPS.com. Have you taken a trip out here lately? Use this as your guide! . . . #dineGPSfoodie #dineGPS24 #ad #palmsprings #roadtrip #staycation

I'll be honest, I don't like to give horrible reviews. But I just couldn't squeeze out a 2nd star for this restaurant located by the pool in the Renaissance Indian Wells Resort & Spa. The service was bad, the food took forever, and when it arrived, I wouldn't even call it tasty. The restaurant was less than half full, yet our food for a party of 2 took about 1 hr 15 minutes to be served. During that time, we didn't get one drink refill offered to us. When the food came, my $50 NY Steak was a gristly mess. I ate about half of it and just left the rest. A pricey restaurant like this has a few shots at being good. Service Wait Time Food quality Unfortunately, CAVA didn't meet my expectations on any of these.

The steaks were so terrible. Normally I’m not one to send anything back but for 36$ I expected more. We sent back twice and when the chef came out to speak with us he seemed very uninterested and we tried to be as kind as possible. They were so over cooked and had a “dennys like” gravy on top. They tried to compensate and the manager was super kind to us. They gave us a dessert on the house, cream brûlée my favorite and even that was poor quality a maybe 2/10 with lots of sugar on top not even crystallized by the heat. If I come back I definitely will be not eating on site at the hotel.

This was, without a doubt, the worst Thanksgiving dinner I’ve ever had. The staff at CAVA were incredibly unaccommodating and seemed clueless about how to handle guests on such a significant occasion. I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to warn others about this experience.

The problems started with the hostess, who seated us at arguably the worst table in the restaurant. The area was unbearably hot, with the blazing sun glaring directly at us. Our group included two toddlers and two seniors, yet when we requested to be moved, the hostess refused, claiming the other tables were reserved. However, even after an hour, no new customers arrived to occupy the nearby empty tables.

The food itself was mediocre, with portions—particularly the meat cuts—so small they felt more like samples than a proper meal. The seating arrangements were thoughtless, adding to the discomfort of the entire evening. Worst of all, the staff’s unprofessional and unpleasant demeanor left us deeply regretting our choice to dine here for Thanksgiving.

As a local, I can confidently say I will not be returning, nor would I recommend this restaurant to anyone. A truly...

We were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary on the VALLEY RESTAURANT WEEK. Very bad management the Cava restaurant, didn't have the menu available yet, when asked for Restaurant Week Advertisement SPECIAL MENU THAT INCLUDED SALMON a la carte, I ask for bread they told me we don't have bread anymore. They told me the only option for Restaurant week was a buffet My reservation was at 5 pm they make us wait until 5:20 because the buffet ( we did not came for a buffet )was not ready yet, all guest waiting. Waitress didn't came to pick up the bill we went to paid to the front of the restaurant with a very unfriendly waitress ( our waitress ignoring to pick up the bill). The service without to much respect treating the customers. When asked for a spoon waitress laugh and told us good " I found a spoon after I said many no". The food was mediocre, and a tres leches with corn bread that we did not like it taste very cheap. The chicken picatta horrible flavor like hot, frozen meat and the meat hard and tasteless. Please change management of Cava or do a new American restaurant according to luxury hotel standards of...
