Don't let the bad reviews scare you. They almost scared us away. To our surprise the customer service was great from the time we walk through the door until we left. We were 1st time visitors and our questions were answered patiently and thoroughly. We tasted some of the unique ice cream flavors. Believe It or Not queso, is actually pretty good. There was so many I can't see how anyone can choose just one. Which I'm sure they don't have to LOL. We order it tamales with cheese and jalapeno and the flavor was amazing! Definitely beyond my expectations. I was afraid because they were the last flavors left that they weren't as popular or delicious. I was wrong! The elotes was classic and just what I was hoping for. The tamales here are usually extremely good, and quite large for their prices. They're also pre-prepared and wrapped in tinfoil: you should get your order very quickly (a few minutes), and take out should stay hot for some time.

I'd especially recommend: "red sauce w/ chicken tamale wrapped in corn leaves"; and "green sauce w/ pork tamale wrapped in banana leaves."

There are lots of cold treats here, like ice cream, smoothies, shakes, and Mexican-style frozen fruit desserts; such things are not really to my tastes, and appear more expensive than I'd prefer.

Service is fine, but English may be a second language.

I am extremely upset! I typically visit this place regularly but I will never go there again after being charged an additional $4 without the them letting me know. I’m assuming it was because I used a card but if there’s an extra fee for using a card, that should be disclosed before swiping someone’s card! My order was $17.50, I checked my account just to see that they actually took $21.50! That is technically stealing from a person. I typically recommend this place to people but I never will again! When I handed the guy my card, in the drive-thru, he should’ve told me that there’s an additional fee, therefore, I would’ve used cash...
