The last few months I have been going to the pharmacy on a regular bases for a family member. I was disappointed that CVS on 30th & Lafayette had closed down forcing me to look for a new place. I have been pleasantly surprised by the much improved service that I have been receiving since I started going to this Walgreens. Though I am disappointed by the limitations on the hours, when they are open, they give really great service. There is a young lady named Adrianna who is fast and friendly. The pharmacist that I have seen on a regular bases has gone out of his way to help me in dealing with health insurance and communication with the doctor. I truly am amazed by their efficiency and fast pace movement while still acting like I am the most important person for that moment. There have also been a couple of other people who I have seen that are always friendly and do their best to help me. I so appreciate their efforts during this difficult time of every pharmacy being understaffed. (I am sure that is the reason for the limited hours) but it is worth it for me to go to them because I know they will...
Read moreJust had the RUDEST lady in the pharmacy REFUSE to help me. I literally had 2 boxes of cold medicine and that was it. I walked to the counter, patiently waited as she ignores me then finally says "one moment". When she finished what she was doing, then I got a can I help u? "Just this" I said. And was instructed "up front" as she pointed to the ONE CASHIER with quite the line. There was not a single person in line at the pharmacy mind u. And when I asked " u can't ring this up?" I was ignored AGAIN as she walked away and HID behind the wall where the medicine is keep. UNBELIEVABLE! I live in the area and come in several times a week,it's omw home from work. Sometimes I stop omw to work as well. I'm usually greeted with smiles and haven't ever been treated so rudely. As I left without my purchase. I noticed the manager in the parking lot. I stopped and told him about my experience.. maybe he was in shock?? Because he couldn't even find the words "I'm sorry to hear this". Literally speechless! Or didn't care Either way convenient or not I will think twice before...
Read moreThe store & pharmacy need serious help. The exterior of the property sets the expectations. Dirty, unkempt, employees seem unhappy and zero moral. Employees seem defeated & overwhelmed, in return providing poor customer service. Wait times are horrible, it doesn't matter if you uses the drive up or go inside. Per the pharmacy tech Walgreens has a week long backlog & hundreds of prescription un filled. 9/12/22 @ 11:31 Update: Called Walgreens local business office, to voice my concerns. I received a return call from the store manager with in minuets. Apologizing for the delays & stating staffing was the issue. I've been going to this Walgreens for the past year, quite frankly it's a management issue. Even the pharmacist is rude for pete sake. Poor customer service & rude behavior is deemed acceptable. On my part work on being more understanding and try a different approach. 9/20/22...
