Disappointing Experience at Burger King on 30th Lafayette St

I recently visited the Burger King store located on 30th Lafayette St, and I must say that my experience left much to be desired. From the unkempt interior to the unprofessional behavior of the employees, and the malfunctioning app, there were several aspects that contributed to my disappointment.
Firstly, upon entering the store, I was taken aback by the lack of cleanliness. The tables were dirty, and the floors appeared to have not been properly cleaned in quite some time. This immediately gave me a negative impression of the establishment.
Furthermore, I observed employees sitting and laughing at customers, which was highly unprofessional and disrespectful. It is disheartening to see such behavior from individuals who are supposed to represent the company and provide a pleasant dining experience.
To add to my frustration, the Burger King app was down during my visit. This was particularly inconvenient as the prices at this location are already on the higher side, especially when feeding a family. It is disheartening to think that the company would willingly contribute to pushing people into poverty by not providing a functioning app. This raises questions about the motivation behind this decision, whether it is due to employee laziness, low wages, or a corporate desire to maximize profits at the expense of the less fortunate.
Moreover, I encountered two different managers who were unable to honor the deals advertised on the app. This lack of consistency and understanding was highly disappointing. As a customer, I expect managers to be knowledgeable and accommodating, but unfortunately, this was not the case.
In conclusion, my experience at the Burger King store on 30th Lafayette St was extremely disappointing. The unkempt interior, unprofessional behavior of employees, malfunctioning app, and inability of managers to honor deals all contributed to my negative perception of this establishment. I hope that Burger King takes these concerns seriously and addresses the issues at hand to provide a better experience for its customers.
Additionally, I requested to obtain contact information for the general manager or store owner during my visit, as I wanted to address my concerns directly with someone in a position of authority. However, I was met with confusion and a lack of understanding from the managers on duty. This made me feel disrespected and led me to question their intelligence or their willingness to comprehend my request. It is disappointing when employees in managerial positions are unable or unwilling to provide basic information about the individuals who oversee their operations. Read moreI recently placed an order online at Burger King, and when I arrived to pick it up, I was informed that the shake machines had been shut down for the night at 10pm. Initially, I was disappointed since I had ordered two shakes, but the employee who handed me my order went above and beyond to ensure that I didn’t leave dissatisfied. She immediately offered to write down my name so I could come back at another time to receive the shakes I had paid for. I paused for a moment and asked if, instead, I could get a different item to replace the shakes. Without hesitation, she kindly requested approval from her manager and promptly returned with a solution.
What stood out to me the most was her genuine commitment to making sure I left happy. She didn’t just brush off my request or make me feel like an inconvenience. She actively sought to resolve the issue, and she did so with a great attitude and a smile. Once everything was sorted, she double-checked with me to ensure I was fully satisfied with the replacement items, which were of equal value to the shakes I had originally ordered.
I truly appreciate her professionalism and the care she took to make sure I wasn't upset or disappointed by the situation. Her customer service was top-notch, and she turned what could have been a frustrating experience into a positive one. I ordered a # 10 medium size with a medium the lady ) who took my order at the drive thru didnt inform me when I ordered there was no sprite. I also ordered two 8 piece nuggets two small fries, two cheeseburgers and two medium sprites. When I checked my receipt the number showed a small sprite I informed her that I would like a medium fanta ( the new drink I chose since she said they had no sprite.) I asked her the price difference so she said you want all the drinks medium and I said yes what is the price difference so I could pay the difference from the small drink to the medium drink for the #10. She said with an attitude so you want all the drinks medium once again I told her yes she said god d*mn and closed the window dumped out the small and made the medium drink that I was willing to pay for!
