My 2 reserved seats were taken by a man and woman who stated they did not want to sit in the front row which turned out to be the tickets they paid for. They did not offer to get up, so I thought perhaps I bought the wrong seats . I went to ask for help and the gentleman that worked there went to look at the seats. He then went and asked someone else I am assuming a manager. Instead of asking the couple who were clearly in the wrong seats to move to the correct ones, my son and I were given the option of seeing a later movie that was not the 3D version we paid for,, leaving altogether and getting our money back, or taking a front row seat instead. My son really wanted to stay so we opted to take the front row seat for which I had to stain my neck to look up at the screen. I am not sure why it was not important enough for the staff to just ask the couple to get into their assigned seats and why I was so quickly dismissed when I was the one who purchased the seats. Halfway through the movie I asked for a refund and was given one. It was just a very disappointing experience altogether .Everyone knew I had paid for the seats but no one cared. Not the couple, the...
Read moreThey overcharge for everything, tickets, food, drinks, even water. Their lack of diversity in hiring is painfully obvious. Every single employee there was African American, not a single Mexican, Asian, Pacific Islander, or Caucasian person. There was this super nice African American couple in front of me in the concession line and we got talking and even exchanged numbers; the service staff behind the counter was friendly and nice to them but when I ordered, they were very racist and rude, so much so that the nice couple I exchanged numbers with called the server out on it and told her to stop being racist and just take my order. The teenage girl behind the counter was visible distraught that she was called out on her racism and acted like she was going to fight me, like what? How did that devolve into violence, I just wanted to order some popcorn for my kid and husband. The nice couple was so enraged by this obvious discrimination that we all decided to leave (couldn't get a refund either, they refused) and eat dinner at Longhorns instead of watching our movies. My family and I will never be returning to this movie theater, they are racist as...
Read moreThis is my least favorite AMC theatre. As soon as we walked in to see Barbie movie, they said our theatre had switched to a different room and they didn’t know which one. We had to wait a couple minutes to figure out where we’re supposed to go. The popcorn and drinks were cool and overpriced. We got a large refillable popcorn, a large drink and medium drink and that was $45. The part where they had us messed up is that there wasn’t any melted butter left for the popcorn. The workers had no sense of urgency to refill it either. The cashier workers were so RUDE to my mom and I when we asked to refill to butter dispenser. They got an attitude and told us to walk to the opposite end of the theatre to use the other one. When my mom went back outside to the food concessions midway during the movie. She said she got disrespected by the workers and their excuse was that they were short staffed. Don’t offer a 20% discounted movie ticket before a certain time if the movie theatre is going to be chaotic, understaffed, and things not stocked how they’re supposed to be. We spent way too much money for...
