Their breakfast is, as a rule, fantastic. I've been coming here for roughly a decade, since I first tried it with my mother in sixth grade. The twins who own the place, as well as all those they hire, are friendly and do orders accurately. I have never once had to ask for them to fix an order.
In terms of lunch, I've only had one thing on the lunch menu though, and I can't bring myself to order anything else! The Peyton manwhich, their own variation on the standard philly cheesesteak formula, is truly exceptional to me. Important to note, they offer both fries and cut up potato slices. The french fries are very good, well seasoned and crispy. The potatoes are also good, but they go a little light on the seasoning (sprinkle all over it instead of mix it in, so the lower potatoes don't get as much), so I generally prefer the fries.
Their Sausage egg and cheese biscuits are simply the best you can get in Indianapolis. The biscuits are cooked on a hot grill TO ORDER from dough right in front of you, as are the eggs, sausage, and other such things. A bit more expensive than going to Hardees or McDonalds, but you also get a ton more food and it tastes far better. A medium coffee and sausage egg and cheese biscuit would be a nice breakfast to get you going any day.
Also of note, because they make everything to order anyway, they will happily modify anything you want. Usually, this modification is free. Something like asking for a bit of tomato to be put on a your cut up potatoes would not cost you anything. However, if you ask for something like sausage cut up on top of them, you will probably have to pay a...

Today was our first trip out to Philadelphia Steak and Fries, and it’s been on our list for a while. My wife, our son, and I finally made it in—and we’re glad we did. Right off the bat, the service was excellent. The staff member who helped us was friendly, patient, and answered all of our questions without rushing us.
Now, onto the main event: the cheesesteak.
Flavor-wise, it was solid. The bread was fresh and tasty, and the meat was seasoned really well—savory and satisfying. That said, for my taste, it fell just a little short in two key areas: meat and cheese. When I think of a cheesesteak, I think of a sandwich so packed you struggle to finish it. This one, I could finish easily. Also, I prefer when the cheese is chopped up and mixed in with the meat—here, it wasn’t.
Still, it hit enough good notes to keep us happy. I’m giving it a 4 out of 5. We’ll definitely be back, and I’m hoping next time the cheesesteak comes just a bit more...
Read moreI dined here for the first time today. To be honest, I was not expecting much. So, when it came time to order, I upsized my fries and drink. Nobody can mess up fries was my thought process.
I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak Supreme. And my son-in-law ordered the Ham & Swiss. The chef started preparing our food fresh before I had paid. By the time I had filled my Pepsi, our lunch was ready!
It was probably one of the best Philly's I have ever eaten. I could not finish my fries because the sandwich was so big. My son-in-law and I waddled out of the place very happy with our meal.
They have a tip jar near the register. I am not one to tip until after I have been able to assess the food and the service. I went back to the front to meet the owner so I can congratulate him, and to leave a 30% tip. I was that impressed!
I would give this place 10 stars if that...
