I was given family rings for my engagement and took them to Shane Co to get resized. To my horror when the salesperson came back and said my Grandmothers rings were completely FAKE. The sales lady then showed me replacement rings to buy, overwhelmed I just wanted to leave. Cue the family drama over fake rings. I was told to get a second opinion and that is how I ended up at Patora. I met Holly who was super nice and told her NOTHING about the drama. She immediately knew exactly what kind of rings they were and tested all sorts of rings to show me they were in fact real. After getting an appraisal done, they were in fact VERY real, just very old nice diamonds from before the 1920's. Holly was patient and listened to me ramble on and on. I had a wonderful shopping experience. I was helped by the thoughtful and personable Savannah who took my vague ideas for a Christmas present for my wife and led me to some beautiful stackable rings. Beware of ordering custom pieces. I lost a stone in my ring & after 7 weeks they cannot find it (still looking). When my 18K gold earring broke in half, it took 5 weeks to repair. I walk in wanting to spend $ & no one greets for @ least 3-5 mins. I see 2-3 folk behind the counter, however there is no greeting. I don't like saying this but, I think it's a skin color issue cuz when I finally do get service I witness other folk coming in thru the door & get greeted & ask 'how can I help you'...
