My husband came here wanting to support an Irvington business. The owner, John, cut his hair originally and did a half-effort job. My husband came home and the hair was different lengths on each side of his head. He went back the next day to get if fixed (they still didn’t fix it, his hair is two drastically different lengths on both sides of his head) and the barber that cut his hair originally wasn’t there. The new barber TRIED TO CHARGE HIM HALF PRICE for FIXING HIS HAIR!! That is absolutely ridiculous since his haircut was poor to begin with. The owner had the audacity to say “he’ll cover it.” My husband never should have had to come back to get his haircut fixed to begin with, and he never should have been told he’ll only be charged half off for FIXING his hair. My own stylist was pretty rough with me and hurt my scalp with the clippers.
Lastly, the shop is very dirty. Hair everywhere, embedded in the rugs.

Walked in, no appointment, the staff acknowledged me quickly, and I did not have to wait long.
Jesse asked me what I needed, I said "Medium Skin Fade and finger-length on top" and he proceeded to do just that. Perfect fade, rounded evenly on top and at the right spot so it's not too high but not so low that my cowlick's gonna pop up right away (it's been two-weeks and it's still not there).
If I were living in Indianapolis, he'd be my go-to guy. Now, someone in Virginia has to live up to that, not looking forward...
