LiftOff Creamery — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Fresh food made to order, and the ice cream was so good! My only food complaint is that the waffle cones weren't freshly made. The pickle chips were delicious, and the grilled cheese BLT was AMAZING. The staff was all so friendly!

The store itself could definitely use a little love... If the front ice cream bar could be moved back maybe 1.5', the owners could definitely add a couple of 2-top tables. The restroom was clean but needs to be brightened up with a fun thematic paint job...and maybe a scent that evokes a want for something sweet, like a cotton candy or baked good scent. I also wondered why there isn't any table seating outside. Again, just a couple of 2-top tables would make the entire space more inviting.

Oh, one more thing ... I'm not sure what was up with the a/c inside, but it was quite warm. We visited on a less hot day, so I can't imagine what it's like with these 90+° temperatures! An airplane propeller ceiling fan would be a...

I came over the weekend (Saturday and Sunday) and had the unfortunate displeasure of experiencing the worst customer service from the same young boy both days. Now I love this place and my kids do as well, but moving forward if this boy is working we will walk out. He was young, maybe 16-17 brown hair, not too tall, someone called him Rye? Anyway, he had quite the face of "hurry up with what you want so I can sit back down" or "I hate it here" he was quiet and not paying attention to what we asked, he dismissed my children's questions and rolled his eyes when I told him they were speaking to him. He slammed cups and sighed when he had to scoop a sample. His area was a mess, he spoke to us as if we were an inconvenience for him, and when he was done with us, he sat on his phone. To update the masses I was supposed to be getting a refund from liftoff. It’s been four Days and they told me they can’t get a hold of the owner or management to give me my refund. If you’re the owner or manager please get a hold of me I’ll leave your number with your associates. If you’re going only go for the ice cream the food is not eatable they seem to just cover everything in seasoning salt the cheese burger was greasy and taste of salt the fry’s were orange from the amount of seasoning salt on them we also had the boneless wings.
