N a Nails — Local services in Indianapolis

Been going here for YEARS. And now Paul wants to be a crashout after I asked for him to fix a mistake and don’t know how to talk to people when he’s in the wrong. I tip them every time even when they do a terrible job I still tip. Won’t be coming back again due to lack of urgency and lack of people skills when it comes to fixing a small issue. This what my nail looks like less than a week later because he was filing my real nail down and make both skinny and then wanted me to schedule an appointment to get ONE nail fixed that broke the day after getting them done and charging me $90 for terrible basic short gel set. You need to do better. This place was nice 5 years ago. Now I see why it’s almost empty everyday. Paul you need to work on your people skills due to the lack of respect and manners I did not even come back to get the nail fix. I will find a better place that deserves the tips I give.

Replying to the response again updated my rating from 2 stars to 1. Date 7/31/25: You never received 5 stars because you never did 5 star work or gave 5 star energy or had 5 star people skills. So no I NEVER gave you 5 stars. You are correct. You deserved 3 stars at the time… always late or never in the shop when it’s empty, always want to rush and work on nails when people start coming in, unorganized, impatient and smart mouthed. And even with all that being said I STILL tipped $10-20 for poor business skills and remained a loyal customer because I was never been mistreated until I asked for a mistake to be fixed. You were upset I said it in front of your customers and that’s why you snapped. Do better like I said before. Now your rating is 1 star due to not taking accountability and feeling entitled to 5 stars when you barely deserved 4. AND ALSO for saying you didn’t charge $90 when my gel set for BOTH hands and feet cost $90. I had the worse experience ever in my history of getting my nails done. I'm from NWI area and was attending a funeral in Indianapolis. I went into Na Nails on Lafayette. My technician was named Alexia. I request a pedicure and gel manicure on my natural nails. After leaving, within 30 minutes the nails looked bubbled. I did not have time to go back that day, so I decided to go back the next day before I got on the road to go home. When I got there I explain what happened to the nail tech. She mentioned my issue to the owner. I was okay with a total do over until the nail tech drilled instead of soaking my nails. She continued to do a poor job and made matters worse than they were. I asked for a refund and this is how the fight got started. They tried to say I messed up my nails after leaving the salon. I requested for a gel set. A gel set suppose to be completely dry before the client leaves the shop. It will not matter if the person bump, dip in water the nails are suppose to not be damaged nor should the polish lifts. The nail tech admitted the set was not properly cured. She knew she was having a problem 🙄while doing the process on one finger. This resulted in the police coming and me loosing at least 50 dollars.

The service i received today was terrible and shameful! Paul is completely too comfortable getting hostile with women. After Paul completely butchered my nails, he got very hostile with me because I stated my dislike. I asked for stiletto shape and was charged for a shape change although I did not get stiletto. The French tip was just sloppy so I asked for full polish and was still charged for French tip. Paul stated "you asked for something impossible, you nail bed is wide". Paul, if it was impossible, why even try? Why get hostile with me when I was dissatisfied? Paul filed the side of my nails so bad, they hurt to touch. Emily attempted to fix my nails but the shape is still not what I was charged for! All of this after I waited over 1 hour after my appointment that was made the day before. Paul is NOT cable of doing simple sets and his nail application is terrible. Paul is the owner amd most requested bc most of his other techs are terrible as well. It took 2 people and 50 mins just to do French tip on my daughter short nails. Paul is not honest about what he can do. Instead he'll play with your nails just to take your money. HE IS VERY RUDE AND WILL FIGHT WITH WOMEN WHO VOICE THEIR OPINION. I did not yell or get loud not once. I even asked Emily to please have her husband to stop speaking to me.
