Not a good experience at all. The food was ok. The bathroom was yucky, even my son complained about the mens’ room. There is a sign to wait to be seated. I waited 10 minutes a no one acknowledged my presence. I used my cell and called the restaurant and asked if. I was supposed to seat myself. I saw the bartender look at the front door as she told me someone was on the way. A server came to the door and said “What do you need.” I literally looked behind me because she could not possibly be talking to me.
I politely asked if we could be seated at a booth. She just stated at me. So I asked, “Is this sign correct or do we seat ourselves?” Her response, “Yeah you can seat yourself if you want but I need to clean up a booth first.”
She responded as if I was interrupting her nap or something. That rudeness created an awful vibe that I could not shake. And to top it off she was also our server. She ignored our booth, another server helping others checked in on us. She was very sweet and professional. I will not go back and do not recommend this place. And for those who want to know, I tipped her $25 on a $48 bill. Hoping to send the message that she needs to do better and to extend kindness in spite of...
Read moreI have to admit that I have driven by this place almost every day since it was built and quite frankly was just not interested in a "smokey bar". Since the law preventing smoking in any public forum went into effect though, and because a friend recently recommended it, we decide to try them out on Tuesday's "Bacon Wrapped Filet" special night. Wow.....for the money, the portions were quite adequate and the filet was cooked perfectly with a nice char on the outside and still pink and juicy on the inside. The house made Vinaigrette was fabulous. Only down side, it's a true bar meaning no wine list so the house wine had to suffice to go with steaks, but it wasn't that bad when paired with food. Wouldn't call it a good sipping wine; but we remedied that situation with having a nice cocktail before dinner. The decor is quite eclectic with lots of teak wood and nautical themed nick knacks. The bar tender and wait staff were all very friendly and efficient. I could see this being a frequented establishment and it's close enough to home to walk if...
Read moreI have been coming here nearly once a week for about 2 months now and always enjoy this restaurant. The food and service is perfect every time.
Typically, I have been getting the pork tenderloin or the Italian beef with a side of onion pedals. The pork tenderloin is not the gigantic type, but it is bursting with the delicious pork flavor unlike any tenderloin I have had before. The Italian beef has delicious seasoning on the meet and served with a cup of au jus and giardiniera. The onion pedals are actually juicy!
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area.
Update (8-19-2019): Still coming here once a week and have been for over a year. This place is amazing. Great service, great food. Lately, I can't get away from the grilled chicken fajita wrap as well as the spinach and artichoke dip! Their salsa is so delicious too. It is amazing how much food is made in house here! It shows in the quality. This is definitely a...
