Don't let the tiny, practical dining room put you off! This is an amazing restaurant with, kind, friendly, fast & accurate employees. The most important thing at a restaurant is cleanliness & delicious food and Imperial Palace has that & more. The biggest Crab Rangoon I've ever seen, egg rolls cooked to perfection on the inside & crispy outside, and custom heat (if you like spicy). I had the Hunan Chicken. A delicious mix of chicken, cabbage, onions, green peppers, carrots, broccoli and custom sauce. I ordered mine at a heat of 7 on a scale of 1 to 10. It was perfect & left my lips a bit tingly. I don't usually like Lo Mein but tried some off a friend's plate & it was amazing with thin noodles, chicken and a nice blend of vegetables. I only ordered water to drink but the server kept my glass full & brought extra napkins without being asked. The bill at end was 100% accurate. The total for 4 people was about $70 which included a $10 tip. I will go here again anytime I'm in...

Obviously, one of the previous reviews was posted by an unethical competitor because this is one of our FAVORITE Asian restaurants! The Crab Rangoon’s are the best I have ever had - and I have eaten all over the world. The prices are very affordable, especially their lunch menu. The restaurant itself is amazingly clean and the air is oxygen rich with all the beautiful plants in the window. If you are planning a night at home with takeout, this should ALWAYS be your go to place. And if you enjoy the music of Sinatra and a peaceful environment, then eating at Ben’s place is a great choice as well. My family drives from the Northside- Carmel, to eat here. And this restaurant once had hundreds of well-deserved...

My husband and I found this gem of a restaurant on Google and we were absolutely delighted! Service was so polite and fast. There were regular customers which comes as no surprise. Had we not driven from Texas but lived locally, I’d certainly buy dinner at Imperial Palace weekly.

Portion sizes were just right. We left feeling full. The crab Rangoon were mammoth and not to be missed. So fresh and flavorful!!!

The restaurant was immaculately clean. Music was perfect. From now on, if we are ever in Indianapolis, we will be here first for dinner.

So far the best Chinese spot I've ate at in Indianapolis. My husband is picky when it comes to eating out and he loved the food here. The Crab Rangoons are huge and fresh! As you can see they are as big as my hand I got full with 3 & they serve 4. The flavor of the food is on point and not bland. They season or salt perfectly. Their bathroom was really clean and so was the restaurant. The atmosphere was chill with the bamboo plants. And the staff was very friendly, both the guy that took our order and the guy we checked out with. We came here to dine in on July 10 during lunch. I highly recommend this spot! 😋🍽️

Nice place for a good filling American Chinese fusion lunch. We ordered spice level of 6 (on a scale of 1-10). I would say the spice was reasonable and we could have actually asked for 8. The highlight was Garlic Chicken, possibly due to my Asian roots - packed a punch with garlic, sauce and veggies. The garlic and orange chicken come with a side of steamed or plain fried rice. Hot and sour soup had a unique flavor - which was neither too spicy nor too warm - just the right touch. All in all good good at a very reasonable price - definitely recommend. They do serve halal - chicken and beef only.
