Unfortunately need to update this review after my experience today. Brought Henry in for daycare evaluation, after less than 10 minutes I was told he was ātoo nervousā for their comfort. Mind you, there are over 100 dogs playing in this facility. Yes, my dog is going to be a little nervous⦠new environment and a TON of stimulation. Just found that interaction a bit odd, and do not believe they know anything about my dog after less than 10 minutes. This is why Iāve only ever used daycares that do not require evaluation. Regardless, he had a grooming appointment which I chose to have him stay for. I was told over the phone that his groom would be $48 as thatās what it showed I paid last time. Apparently whoever I spoke with was incorrect, and I was told I owed $75. Staff was NOT friendly and seemed very annoyed that I was a bit frustrated by the events of the day. Groomer was condescending and unprofessional today in person. This was a 180 from my last experience and it is safe to say we will NOT be returning.
Just picked my dog up for his first grooming with Carmen. He looks, smells and feels fantastic. His coat is so shiny and soft, and he literally smells like freshly baked sugar cookies which is a touch I didnāt know I needed in my life. They had availability on short notice before the holidays as well. Canāt wait to bring him back in January for his temperament test to start doggy daycare here as well. The facility was clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. As a small business owner myself I just had to give them this compliment. Thank you guys & happy holidays from me...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHighly recommend this place for a good resource when you need a few hours or the day and don't want to leave your pup home alone. My huskies have some separation anxiety and chew things up if I have to leave them alone for more than an hour, so this will be a good alternative when we need it. Also, I think I would plan to use the puppy play ground more in the coldest weather so I can avoid freezing at the dog park when no one else wants to come out. Plus it's pretty much a guarantee that your pups will wear themselves out. My dogs typically need at least an hour at the dog park, and the puppy playground was a great alternative to stimulate them and work out any pent up energy they have. I was also surprised that they were so distracted by playing that they didn't show any signs of separation anxiety - so I'm hoping this will help with separation anxiety overall with them. I found it impressive and cute that the staff knows all the dogs' names and how great they are with each dog. The staff also seems very passionate and knowledgeable about each dog and the different dog breeds. I plan to take my dogs to the puppy playground again soon (once they get their canin influenza shots) and maybe go on a regular basis to keep them socialized when the dog park is empty...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe won't take our pups anywhere else! We've been going to the puppy playground for years, and they are always so great with both our girls. Our oldest has abandonment issues, since we rescued her from a boarding place, were someone had dumped her. It was her 4th time being dumped in a shelter or place in her first 9 months. Even though we've had her for years, she still has those initial fears going into a place, and takes a minute to warm up. She's also older and prefers to watch the other pups play, and not join in so much. Puppy playground is great with ALL of her needs. Our youngest is a hyper terrier mix, who makes friends with everyone and loves attention from both staff, and all the other pup friends there. They do great with both our very different ladies. We found the puppy playground when we lived on the NE side of town, and since then we have moved to the southside, but continue to make the drive, because no one else takes care of our girls...
