I was driving home from work today and noticed a new place in the strip mall near my apartment and decided to stop in and see what was up, I love a new local place. One side is a restaurant and the other is a grocery store, my mission was food so I popped into the restaurant, their menus have not arrived yet so the menu they use is temporary. So many many awesome options! I decided chips and salsa, three tacos, I got steak, chicken and el pastor, traditional style with corn tortillas, cilantro and onion. They also give you the green and red sauce. I loved my tacos they were so fresh and flavorful, and perfect seasoning, and the sauces were spicy. The chips were fresh, sturdy but not chip your teeth sturdy, and the salsa was fresh, chunky and had amazing flavor. After I was done eating I popped over to the grocery store, they have a nice selection of produce, spices and goods. I got tomatoes, avocados, limes, tajin, mango nectar and Marzapan cakes. Great little restaurant! The place is simple, attached to the Latin grocery store, but the food is delicious and the employees were very nice and helpful! We just went in looking for a quick simple lunch, and got a delicious and very affordable meal. I got a chicken tinga quesadilla, which had a ton of meat and cheese and was so well seasoned, and my dad got a taco salad with yummy grilled chicken. The queso was smoky and the right amount of spice. Their salsas are also fresh and tasty. The workers were really friendly and gave fast service with a smile....

The immediate area is starved for authentic Mexican food. This place definitely brings their A game. The taquitos Mexicanos are amazing. Super crunchy and flavorful. Their other tacos and tamales are also outstanding. I also love the store with a small size but good variety of items that can be hard to find somewhere else (e.g. trying to find good tomatillos at Kroger). the family who runs the shop and restaurant is so nice.
