Had a dreadful experience with consume tonight and after being a customer here for years, truly loved this place.. I will never be coming back again. I bought an oz, and some carts. No issue, I get my flower and 2 carts and the total threw me off because it was higher then I calculated. whatever I paid and get to my car. I look in my bag and immediately notice half of my flower is the wrong strain. I then see my drip carts are the big 2g disposable carts not the 1g 510 carts. I go in and it's been maybe 10 or 15 seconds. I say bro.. made a mistake no biggie. I figure this issue will be fixed easy peasy. Not so much. The staff are the best thing about this place but the manager working said no about simply exchanging the pre packs with the strain I actually wanted. It was the same price but I guess the manager couldn't do it. I can live with buying the 2g carts but not simply exchanging my strains told me this is not a dispensary I will spend money at anymore. I don't know what happened to this place but it's not the dispensary I loved a year or so ago. Read moreHonestly, the only good thing about this place was the employees. I live 45 minutes away but drove over because they had Packwoods, 2/$40 on the medical menu. That’s pretty much unheard of. So I go over and tried to get like 10 of them. Due to the limitations on concentrates, which I guess is what Packwoods is listed under by the state, I could only get 6. Thank god. That very restriction saved me $80+. Got 3 different flavors and the manufacture date was 7/30/21 and 8/7/21. Really? Is that part of the Consume business model to sell top shelf items that have been sitting in around for over a year and a half. I guess in hind sight the red flags should have gone up the minute I saw the price but I never thought a dispensary would get over on me like that. Seriously. Do a lot of places do this? I do to at least 4 places consistently and it’s never happened. I guess the last thing I want to know is do you guys sell a lot of stuff that is over a year and a half old? You shouldn’t even be in business if you do. Lastly, the biggest slap in the face was me giving the budtender a $10 tip with him knowing the entire time how old they were. Went there after a terrible experience at herbology in grand rapids where I was basically ignored and not given any information regarding buds when I asked as It was my first time shopping at that store. Not here. The nice lady at the desk got up took me and my friend into the backroom and introduced me to Lexi, made her aware that we were first time buyers and she was amazing! I wasn't sure what I wanted, but she started to ask me multiple questions to figure out what would best fit my needs, and she did just that. Planned on spending $100, walked out spending $280. Money well spent.
All I can say is if you're looking for a spot that has a really cool team, that makes sure you walk out the door completely satisfied AND you want the best bang for your buck, this is the spot.
