Slumberland Furniture — Local services in Iron Mountain

Slumberland has a great selection, excellent quality, and reasonable prices. We had a couple of issues related to shipping on a custom ordered selection (NOT the fault of the local store!) But this is where you find out who is great at customer service, and who is faking it. Slumberland Iron Mountain was GREAT! Paula and Ben really went above and beyond and we are grateful! My husband and I have said many times how fortunate we are to have this awesome store right in Iron Mountain. We can't even imagine where we'd be if we had ordered from a store out of our area. I think, personally, we all have to be a little more patient these days because of our tightening supply chain. And we need to count our blessings that we have a great store like this in our area!! We ordered a WolfCraft headboard from them in early November. There was a 2 month lead time which should have arrived early In January . we called in January It had not shown up . We called in Saturday February 6th to find out the status They said they would look into and get back with us Monday 2/08. When we didn't hear back from them by Friday 2/12 my Wife stopped in the store. We found out that Wolfcraft never recieved the order from Slumberland. Now we are having to wait another 2 months . You'd think that when they placed an order with WolfCraft Someone from Slumberland would to followed up with Wolfcraft and made sure the WolfCraft recieved the order. We traveled over an hour and a half to reach Slumberland Furniture in Iron Mountain. We arrived on time and met by Austin and Maribeth. Maribeth took care of us from the time we walked in the door. Austin set up the appointment for us. The most important aspect of our visit: we needed a new mattress and made it very clear that we were on a strict budget, as neither one of us were no longer working, a result of the Stay at Home order. Maribeth was VERY patient with us. She showed us several mattress's in many price ranges, but all the while keeping sensitive of our financial preferences and needs. She let us take our time, we never felt rushed, or pressured. We have a mattress that we are very happy with and will more than likely spend the rest of our lives on!
