Super One Foods — Local services in Iron Mountain

I have gone to this store almost every day for 6 years, at least. I don't know who is running corporate but they are messing up bad. One day they tell me that they need to see my ID before I could purchase beer. I take it out to show them, even though I'm 61. No, they want to scan it. Keep your beer. Their excuse was people are using fake IDs. Straight up lie. They don't need all the info on my ID in their computer system. I never bought any beer again from there. I spoke to employees about how many fakes were caught over a 6 month or so period. None. Not one. And according to them, it's cost them big time in alcohol sales also. Now today I go, like every day, to pick up some groceries. My wife and I brought a 7 week old pup that we have for sale. We were almost done and 2 people sneak up behind me and , claim to be security and tell me I have to leave because we have the pup. I've never seen these people in there before. After a brief disagreement, these ah, abbreviation, ESCORT me out. Stopping to prove who they are with the store manager. Now mind you, I've seen dogs in carts, carried, even walking thru with no leash, to which we complained. The response was, he does that all the time. But I'M being escorted out because there is a 7 week old puppy in my arms. Rub me wrong, and they have, I'll never go there again. To whoever is running the show now, you're screwing up big time. This is by far the cleanest grocery store I have ever gone into their employees are doing a fantastic job of keeping the shelves stocked. Everything is organized and keeping it clean hands down and I hope management reviews these reviews. I don’t think it’s any different really I’m mean they’re probably little more expensive in price but not that big of a deal really but for the cleanliness and the organization and just the cleanliness alone I’m going back. They have a buffet salad bar buffet it was so clean and the produce in there looked good and we went in there probably I think around 11 o’clock somewhere around there so it would’ve been nasty but anyways and we got a rotisserie chicken from there And that was very good, so yes, I would recommend the store and I will be back. The store should have been closed for the remodeling. Tired of having to dodge worksite hazards while I shop. Its dangerous walking underneath a manlift while people are working overhead but Super One provides no hard hat and they don't even rope the area off. I dont want a hammer dropped on my kids head. To make it worse everything has been moved so I can't find anything. Prices were not marked on hundreds of things so rather than wonder what the prices are I just didn't buy any of it. The few things I did buy were covered in sawdust. Been going there 20 years because they are right next door but now I will shop Econo foods the next 20 years.
