Taylor Made Cuisine — Local services in Irvine

I reached out to Taylor Made Cuisine for meal delivery service for my brother who has many food allergies/intolerances. I scoured the orange country area for a company that could accommodate all his dietary needs. I must have called 20+ meal services. Taylor Made Cuisine was the only company I called who was not only willing to work around our restrictions, but seemed confident in doing so. I can honestly say we had incredible service. Carly is fantastic!!! Ultimately we decided to unsubscribe for now for two reasons. The protein portions were not as large as my brother needed. He has to consume an extremely high amount of calories from protein due to a disorder he has had since birth, just to maintain his current weight. Obviously Carly gave us the option to increase the protein portions, but the cost became too high at that point for us to make it worth it. He was still having to supplement on top of the meal plan. The second reason is because my sister has decided to be a stay at home mom and is willing to cook for my brother and accommodate his needs for now. My brother said the food was tasty, especially the meat variations which was his favorite part! We would highly consider using TMC in the future for convenience and the fact that TMC was so accommodating for those with allergies, intolerances, and food restrictions (paleo, vegetarian, gluten free etc.). I don't even know where to start but this is a gem of a company to have found. I researched and looked at many event food catering companies and decided to book them. From the beginning in advising me on their menu for my twin daughter's 6th birthday party at the local park picnic shelter, Carol was fast to respond, so helpful and easy to work with and she alleviated a lot of the stress I had since having good food was a top priority for me. My guest count increased and I made some last minute changes to the menu to accommodate more guests and upgraded the beverage center. They put salad individual cups so it was more convenient for my guests. On the day of, I received non-stop compliments from all of my 80+ guests about how delicious (high-quality) the food was and the incrediblely designed birthday cakes (also provided by them). The staff who stayed to help me set up, serve and clean up couldn't be any more helpful and hard working. I give them so much credit for the success of my event because they went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly from serving lunch to dessert and cake cutting. I will be booking them for ALL of my future events. They are reliable, professional, and just amazing! I couldn't be happier with my decision to hire them. Set Up/presentation: Caterer set everything up perfectly before we got there - it looked so elegant and posh. We were very DIY for everything except the food and their tiered stands and attention to detail elevated the tone of the party. Great menu on display so people could reference for any dietary needs - so smart.

Taste: Personally, I loved all the food - there were three kids present in the party of 45-ish (16, 11, 7) and they did not like the food. I feel like that's noteworthy because it had a lot more flavor than children are used to - pesto, aioli etc. While it was 'apps' or tapas type set up - I was pleasantly full and content. Desserts were also placed out and those complimented the palate.

Clean Up: They had generously provided to-go containers for food, and we had used some for guests that left a bit early. Two people came, and verrrry quickly broke down the set up while still leaving the food behind for our party to enjoy. It felt like they were in and out in less than 10min - very effective team. The entire time they had smiles on their faces and were very kind to any people in their way.
